Nintendo shows off the new Wii U

In order to beef up sales, Nintendo are launching a version of their classic games console the Wii. Under pressure from Microsoft and Sony, Nintendo are in need of getting the ball rolling on sales following a downturn in the take up of the console. The funny thing is, that while there was a big launch with Reggie Fils-Aime the President of Nintendo of America telling the crowd how cool this new console is going to be, there was no actual hardware on show, just some cool images and a demo video.

These are the games that will be launched for the new Nintendo Wii U games console;

Alien’s Colonial Marines

Assassin’s Creed

Batman Arkham City

Dark Siders II (launch title)

Lego City Games

Metro Last Light

Ninja Gaiden 3

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Online

There are no prices or details of when we can expect to see this games console on sale either, although it is expected to be released sometime next year!
