Skype has once again been hit with problems, this time it looks as if users have been unable to log into their accounts, this is a similar thing to what happen a couple of weeks ago following a Skype software update.
According to the Skype Twitter feed, @skype where the company said;
“A small number of you may have problems signing in to Skype,”
“We’re investigating the cause, and hope to have more details to share soon.”
“We’ve identified the cause of the problem, and have begun to address it,” the firm added at around 1.30pm
“If you’ve been affected, you should start to see improvement in the next hour or so. You shouldn’t need to manually sign back in to Skype – it should reconnect automatically when it’s able to do so.”
It seems that the issues surrounding this problem have now subsided or rather we are not hearing from anyone who is having issues with Skype at the moment.
For many users this is an inconvenience but for Microsoft who recently paid £5 billion for the business this is a real headache and something that must be addressed if Skype is going to be a success.
Is anyone still having any issues with Skype or is it running smoothly once again?
