GPS guided cane



You would have thought that in this and age that technology would play a larger part in assisting the blind and partially sighted, but until now there has hardly been anything worthwhile. However, this concept device could be the thing to change all of that, so long as it can be proved to work correctly and actually goes into production.



This cane has the look of a normally long cane that is used to feel obstacles in front. The difference here is that the cane also has a built in GPS navigation system, which should allow the user get around easier without having to rely on other peoples assistance it is a real way of gaining independence even if it is just for going down the road.
