The uPlay online pass games system may have been initially announced way back in 2009, but it taken the company until now to actually bring the service online and for the company to come up with the prices etc. Well now, the firm has released details of uPlay and it appears that the cost is going to be just £7.99 or 800 Microsoft Points, which allows the user to unlock the code in games for extra online content. There are no firm dates as to when this is likely to start, but you would have thought that they would want to the ball rolling on this as soon as possible.
According to a statement that has been released by Ubisoft about the uPlay Passport;
“A new program designed to provide players with access to bonus content, exclusive offers, and online multiplayer play. Adjunct to Uplay, an in-game service that offers gamers extra value, including a bevy of rewards and community features, just for playing Ubisoft games.”
