Concept Idea For The Oyster Card

The Oyster Card is a way of paying for public transport in London without any cash being exchanged, it has been around for about ten years now and it has not changed in that time, even though technology has advanced considerably.

So enter Benjamin Parton, he has taken on himself to give the Oyster Card a new look and image, with the help of radio frequency identification (RFID) technology. The design has been called the Oi and it comes in either a ring that the user wears on their finger or a widget that goes over a watchstrap, of these work in the same way as the current Oyster card does, but they are just easier to use and look cool too!
