The mega pizza retailer Dominos are planning to go where no pizza maker has gone before, the Moon! Oh yes and to prove that they are serious they have come up with the costings etc. Dominos expect the product the cost around £13.5 billion, but around £5 billion of that will be going on transport costs for the seventy tons of building materials and pizza making equipment. The company have been doing their maths and have estimated that it will take around fifteen journeys just to get all of the stuff up there to build a spectacular two storey building with living accommodation for staff too!
Is this real or not, who can say, but the boss of Dominos in Japan is getting well enthusiastic about the project, check out this video and decide for yourself.
According to a spokesperson from Dominos;
‘We started thinking about this project last year, although we have not yet determined when the restaurant might open,’
They continued by saying that;
‘In the future, we anticipate there will be many people living on the moon, astronauts who are working there and in the future, citizens of the moon.’
