The largest social network in the world, Facebook has been under attack with users being spammed by violent and pornographic images. However, Facebook do deny that they are responsible for a flaw in the system; in fact, they blame an unnamed browser with a vulnerability that was expolited. This issue has now been solved and Facebook are looking to deal with the spam matter through the legal process.

According to a statement from Facebook, it said that;

“No user data or accounts were compromised during this attack.”

However, they did also come with some tips for users on how to avoid something like this from happening in the future;

Always use an up-to-date browser
