The Twine Device That Connects Wi-Fi Devices

This is the Twine internet connect device, its currently going through the Kickstarter scheme, where backers can pledge from $30 up to $500 for a chance to get in on the action. The device is a wireless module that connects all devices and keeps all of the messages flowing no matter where you are and all of that despite it looking like a bar soap! It connects through a mini USB or it can be powered by a couple of AAA batteries and a web app keeps the whole running.

These are the details for the interesting Twine device;

Twine is the simplest possible way to get the objects in your life texting, tweeting or emailing. A durable 2.5″ square provides Wi-Fi connectivity, internal and external sensors, and two AAA batteries that keep it running for months. A simple web app allows to you quickly set up your Twine with human-friendly rules — no programming needed. And if you’re more adventurous, you can connect your own sensors and use HTTP to have Twine send data to your own app.
