Facebook Responsible For A Third Of Divorces In The UK

In a study conducted by the online legal advice website Divorce-Online, it has been found that the world’s largest social networking site, Facebook has been cited in a third of five thousand “Unreasonable Behaviour!” divorce cases.

According to divorce lawyer Mark Keenan, who is the managing director of Divorce-Online, he said;

“People contact ex-partners and the messages start as innocent, but lead to trouble,”

“If someone wants to have an affair or flirt with the opposite sex then it’s the easiest place to do it.”

The figures are almost the same in the US too, although there has not been an actual proper study into this, maybe nobody really wants to know the truth!
