There is a lot of media coverage at the moment concerning cyber bullying and stalking. With social media carrying the blame for the rise in this menace, it would be interesting to see the difference between a real social media user and a fake!
Fortunately, we came across this informative info graphic from Barracuda Labs. They have studied profiles on Facebook and have come up with a way of telling if a profile is a fake or real and from the graphic it seems quite easy but it may not apply to all Facebook user accounts.
Basically it looks like that fake profile will go for overkill, with likes, tags and just about anything else, whereas a real persons profile will have less likes and tags. It could be a good way of gauging the difference between a real and fake profile.
