It has been announced by the games developer Valve, that a new software development kit (SDK) for the game Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, will be available just three months following the games launch. There is little detail available at the moment, but it is known that the SDK pack will allow the user to create new maps.
According to Gabe Newell from Valve, this is what will be taking place;
“Hopefully, it’s gonna help consolidate the two communities, that everybody will look at it and say, ‘Okay, this is the version of Counter-Strike I’ve been waiting for,’ but we’ll see. We do think though that is what it gives them: an up-to-date, current, rich-content version of the game that they’ve been playing.”
