The new kid on the social networking block, Pinterest is growing fast and as such has been getting more than its fair share of feedback and suggestions from users. A result of this is that they have made some serious changes to the way in which group boards operate. First of all, they have made it easier to pin and giving the user better controls over their profile. Naturally, this is an ongoing process and we will know doubt get to see more changes to the image and video pinning site over time.
According to post on the Official Pinterest blog, they say that;
Pinners will now be asked to join a group board before it’s added to their profile. When someone adds you to a group board, you’ll be sent an invitation to contribute. If you accept the invitation, you will be added as a collaborator and the board will appear on your profile. Invitations will be sent by email, and pending invitations will be visible to only you at the top of your profile.
