The size of your TV matters these days; it is just how far your budget will stretch that restricts coming home with something like this Panasonic. This is the new NHK and Panasonic plasma TV; it has super hi-vision, which is only good if you live in Japan! However, check this out, it has a screen resolution of 7680 x 4320 pixels and that sounds pretty good to me!
According the video this is what the Panasonic and NHK team has to say about the 145 inch TV;
“One major feature of this 145-inch Ultra High Definition display is that it gives a very even image at such a high resolution. Another big feature is, because it’s Ultra High Definition, it efficiently shows 8K x 4K pictures, which have a huge pixel count.”
“At present, we think this system will be used in commercial settings first, such as theaters, rather than in the home.”
Apparently, Panasonic has not managed to put a price tag on this baby yet, which is a shame, as I would have had two!
