Beware Of Fake DVLA Emails

Once again, the DVLA has been chosen as the cover for a phishing email scam, people are receiving emails that are supposed to be from the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) telling the recipient that they must update their details within two weeks or risk losing their driving licence.

Clearly, to many people this is bogus, but it could scare some people into clicking on the link and entering their name, address, DoB and credit card details straight onto a South African based phishing site that looks like the real thing, except for the typos in the text etc.
