It’s one thing having to submit your latest game to the various rating boards around the world, but you would not expect them to publish their findings online before the game has even been announced would you? Well now you can understand why 2K Games are just a little bit disappointed in the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) who rated the new DLC for Bioshock with an 18, before it has even been announced by the developer, epic fail BBFC!
According to the BBFC website, this is part of their rating decision;
During normal game play, the BioShock Ultimate Rapture compilation contains frequent strong bloody violence. The depiction of violence is similar throughout the original game and its sequel, with sight of spraying blood as enemies are attacked with a range of weapons, including a mechanised drill and a rivet gun.
