When the nights start to draw in and you find yourself going home in the dark, it is essential that road users and other people can see you; otherwise, it is an accident waiting to happen. The HALO is an idea that would seem to do the trick, its colourful LED’s and one size ensures that anyone that wears it will be seen by motorists, cyclists and even people on foot, it’s much better being safe than sorry.
These are the main features for the HALO LED sports safety belt;
The HALO is powered by LEDs that emits lighting through a custom designed thermoplastic polyurethane fiber optic. The TPU fiber optic is then in-housed in premium structured nylon belt with a quick snap release buckle.
The HALO LED is powered by nickel lithium batteries that lasts up to 300 hours depending on the flash mode. The patented housing design is hidden within the belt. It is located approximately 3 inches from the QuickSnap buckle. The battery housing is super light and unnoticeable.
The HALO is expected to retail at around $85 or £55, but Kickstarter backers pledging $75 or £48 will qualify for one of the early deliveries.
