Would you give a Tweet for a free packet of crisps, well who wouldn’t! This is a new marketing venture being run by cereal maker Kellogg’s. It is to promote their new range of savoury Special K Cracker Crisps available in sea salt and balsamic vinegar, sweet chilli or sour cream and onion flavours and each packet has just 100 calories.
According to Sarah Case who is the Special K spokeswoman, she said;
“The value of positive endorsements on social media sites is beyond compare so we’re excited to be the first company to literally use social currency instead of financial currency to launch this new product in our bespoke Special K shop,”
The Kellogg’s Tweet Shop can be found on Meard St in the Soho district of London, it will be open until 5pm on Friday (28th Sept), so hurry!
