Skype Shows Off Its New Windows 8 Platform

It seems that developers across the net have been working on making their services and features compatible with the operating system from Microsoft, Windows 8! What makes this OS different is the touch screen features it brings and therefore Skype have come with Skype for Windows 8, see the video demo for more.

According to a posting on the Skype blog this is what they have to say about the new version;

Skype for Windows 8 is almost here and we are incredibly excited by this important new version of Skype. This is our big step forward together with Microsoft to introduce a completely new Skype experience, which is designed to be always on, immersive, effortless and fun to use.

Standby for Skype for Windows 8 as it will be available on for Windows 8 users from the 26th October.
