A New Kind Of Wallet

The humble wallet has been around for as long as most of us can remember, the materials may have changed, but the basic design has remained the same. Until a group of guys going under the name of Obtainium decided to change things. The design is for a wallet that is not just somewhere to keep your cash, cards and anything else. It is now a device that is designed to protect your valuables too and it seems to work!

These are the specs for the wallet the changes everything;

Made from hard durable stuff. (Aircraft Aluminium with a scratch-resistant 40 micron hard anodized coating)

Blocks RFID skimming.

Will hold 8 cards and some cash or 10 cards and no cash.

Tight jeans compatible, slim design, tapered edges and low friction coating make it high on “pocket slip-ability”

Completely stain & waterproof.

Future-proof; soon all cards will convert to RFID. Further down the road cash will be obsolete. It’s functionality gets better with age.

Flexible strap holds items securely

Just 15 mm thick, 100 mm (L) x 70 mm (W) 86 grams

Once this goes retail you can expect to pay around $200 (£125) but early backers on Kickstarter are able to bag themselves as bargain pre-order if they are quick!
