Google Will Include App Launcher In Future Browser Versions

Any future launches of the Chrome browser from Google will include the Chrome OS App Launcher too, this will mean that once this takes place the user will be getting the same offline experience that Chromebook users have. By this, we mean that the apps will work when not connected to the internet and that is very useful for people who are travelling around using a wireless connection.

According to a post by Sriram Saroop, Product Manager;

Today, on the Chrome dev channel for Windows, you can try the Chrome app launcher–a dedicated home for your apps, which makes them easy to open outside the browser. This is the same experience as the app launcher on Chromebooks, but for other platforms. It’s available on Windows now, and will be coming to Mac OS X and Linux soon.
