The Worlds Largest Panoramic Image

We are used to seeing some real cool panoramic images taken with digital and even mobile phone cameras. However, this project to photograph London is something completely different. They set up on the roof of the famous BT Tower and began to create the 320 giga pixel image, that has been produced by splicing together 48,640 separate images, which explains why the detail is so impressive. You can check it out on the BT London 2012 web page; where there is a cool competition running for eagle eyed digital tourists with prizes available for the winners.
