Garmin Launched Cool Head Up Display Unit

The head up display (HUD) unit used to be found in the cockpit of fighter jets, but now technology has made it possible to produce a cool head up display unit that is not just practical, it is cost effective too. A head up display projects useful information onto the cars windscreen, allowing the driver to keep their eyes on the road while being fed important such as directions, traffic situations and safety alerts.

Here are some of the main features for the Garmin Head-Up Display unit;

Projects navigation information onto your windshield. Provides estimated time of arrival and Lane Assist. Offers speed, traffic and safety camera alerts. Works wirelessly with compatible Bluetooth®-enabled smartphones. For use with Garmin StreetPilot® for iPhone® or NAVIGON mobile apps

This cool heads up display unit is going to be priced at around $130 (£88).
