In the future, we imagine that robots will be able to do all of those jobs that are just too dangerous or just too boring for humans, but that future has taken a step closer with the ERO Concrete Recycling Robot. It is the creation of Omer Haciomeroglu, based at the Umea Institute of Design in Sweden. The idea being that these demolition robots will do the job in safe and energy efficient manner and clearly, this is something that they actually do!
According to the designer Omer Haciomeroglu, he said;
In order to overcome later separation and ease the transport of materials, the process had to start with separation on the spot. It was a challenge to switch from brutal pulverizing to smart deconstruction.
What next for the robot workforce?
