The trend for wearable technology continues with the Rufus Cuff, it fits right into the gap between a smartwatch and a smartphone providing the user with a three inch wide screen display that is held safe in place within a colour changeable silicone case and strap. There are too many features to list, but the basics are, it will work with Android and iOS powered devices, its is powered by a TI Cortex ARM processor, will be running the Android Kitkat operating system, has 16 GB of internal storage, a front facing camera, wi-fi, Bluetooth 4.0, LED alerts and GPS. This device will carry out most tasks that a smartphone can.
As for the size, it measures up at 79 mm (L) x 54 mm (W) x 11 mm (H) and weighs next to nothing despite it being shockproof to certain levels and splash proof too. The Rufus Cuff is the logical next step in wearable tech, but would this be something that you would wear out? The Rufus Cuff will be launching this autumn, although it can be pre ordered from just $230 for the base model with other variations available.
