It has not been an easy ride for Spacex recently, but the best way to prove the speculators wrong is to hold a demo of how good your product is. In this case, the product is the Falcon 9-R reusable rocket, sure, it has support legs that remain in a locked and open position, yet this craft has once again passed another test.
In the launch video, the Falcon flies to 1000 metres, where it hovers and then slowly descends in the upright position until it gently lands on the ground not far from where it was launched. This is a great example of how the Spacex Falcon will operate in the future and shows how reusable rockets are a viable option.
