If you visit a city for the first time such as New York, it can be a bit overwhelming especially when travelling on the subway where the maps are not as clear as they could be. You might need a bit of help in finding your way around and as ever, there is an app for that.
This is Tunnel Vision, it’s an app for the iPhone that covers the New York City subway and it works by holding the device at the map of subway, on the screen of the Smartphone the map bursts into life offering all sorts of useful information and while moving it around brings up further data.
The app collects its information from the New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) for its train schedules and even turnstile movement at certain stations to gauge how busy it is. Other information is gathered from the available sources to provide useful information on the area around the stations etc.
This is a really handy app for anyone visiting or working in NYC. Tunnel Vision is a free app available for iOS powered devices and can be seen on iTunes.
