When you are designing a new product there are many factors to think about in order to bring it in under budget. However, when the team behind Visiobike got together they seemed to have thrown away the rule book to create a design that has style and plenty of technology built in too, making this an eBike to take some notice of.
The frame is made from carbon fibre, battery powered motor with auto electric shifting, Smartphone integration, built in camera, Google maps, a top speed of around 45 kmh and a maximum range of up 120 km’s. This is clearly a great looking bike, but it is the features that really do it proud.
The key to the Visiobike is the Smartphone app, its connects to the bike through a low energy Bluetooth connection to access all sorts of features such as; the settings for lights, the lock, battery status, pedal assist levels, speedo and the distance travelled. You can see that technology plays a big part with the Visiobike design and styling.
As you might expect this sort of technology is not going to come cheap, expect to pay around 4,500 Euros when it launches, but it can be pre ordered from just 3900 Euros.
