To stay in touch with the other providers of online storage Microsoft has beefed up its offerings with a massive 15 GB of online storage for all. But if you are already or planning to subscribe to Office 365 they will increase the free storage to a massive 1 TB, now that is impressive and something that is worth taking a closer look at. There are a few details to look at in this announcement, the first is the basic offer, OneDrive users will now get 15 GB of free storage, which is up from 7 GB. The next feature is that subscribers of Office 365 will be getting a massive 1 TB of OneDrive storage, which is something to get excited about even if you have never used OneDrive before, give it a try it costs nothing to try it out, after all 15 GB is a lot of storage use up.
Finally, as if that was not enough to get interested in, Microsoft are dropping the price of their online storage. From now on the new prices will be; $2 for 100 GB and $4 for the 200 GB version. The new prices and deals will come into effect from next month and current subscribers will be automatically switched over, when the new changes take effect and that means no need to panic. Omar Shahine the Group Program Manager for OneDrive.com, he said in a posting on the OneDrive Blog, that;
We’re really excited to bring more storage to OneDrive so you have all the room you need to store all of your photos, videos, and documents in one place. If you haven’t yet signed up for OneDrive, you can learn more and sign up at OneDrive.
You can now get OneDrive with 1 TB of storage and Office 365 for just $7 per month! There are other deals, but this one seems to the one worth looking at as you are getting the best of both worlds and this deal certainly gives you that.
