The Sony Walkman Is Back But It Costs £949!

You might think that this new device is a Smartphone, but it is in fact the all new Sony Walkman! Yes, the classic music player has made a return but this time it comes with a hi-res display, it runs on the Android 4.2, Jelly Bean operating system, auto play back, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC. The ZX2 High-Resolution Walkman comes with a 4.0 inch TFT colour display with FWVGA and an 854 x 480 of pixel resolutions. The internal memory is a very useful 128 GB, but this can be expanded by a further 128 GB of storage if required. There is a hi speed USB (USB 2.0 compliant) ports and the battery takes around 4.5 hours to charge which offers the user around 60 hours of playback time.

While essentially this is a music player, it has the Android 4.2 operating system installed, which allows the user to download games and video from Google Play. The device has a machined aluminium case that measures up at 65.1 mm (W) x 131.2 mm (H) x 18.5 mm (D) and it weighs in at around 235 grams. This is all good, but there is a downside to all of this Sony coolness! The price, if you want to turn back the clock it is going to cost you around £950!
