Could the PRIV make Blackberry popular again?

A few years ago I switched from an iPhone to a Blackberry, it was brilliant for a while and then all sorts of things started to go wrong. First there was the outage in October 2011 that lastest for four days and then the device itself would freeze for no reason. It was bye bye Blackberry and hello Samsung Galaxy Note! However Blackberry is back with the PRIV and so it seems that I have a decision to make, should I give up the Nexus 6 for the PRIV?

So lets take a closer look at the PRIV, first up it comes with a 5.4 inch diagonal display with a 2560 x 1440 of pixel resolutions. It will be running on an Android operating system and powered by a Qualcomm 8992 processor with 64 bit Dual core 1.8 GHz Cortex-A57 and Quad-core 1.44 GHz Cortex-A53, as well as an Adreno 418, 600 MHz GPU. There is 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of Flash memory that can be expandable up to 2 TB. The rear camera offers 18.0 mega pixels, while the forward facing camera offers 2.0 mega pixels.

Connectivity comes in the form of Bluetooth, while NFC helps to connect to local devices etc. The 3410 mAh non-removable Lithium Ion battery provides a handy 22.5 hours of mixed use time! As for the keyboard there is a choice from the On screen BlackBerry Keyboard and the slide out touch-enabled 4-row physical keyboard. The device measures up at 147 mm (H) (184 mm open) x 77.2 mm (W) x 9.4 mm (D) and weighs in at 192 grams.  The BlackBerry PRIV will be shipping next week and you can pick one up from the Blackberry website for £559!
