You cannot escape how disappointing that latest Phablet from Samsung the Galaxy Note 7 has been, it showed so much promise and Note users were looking so much to getting their hands on the new device. Now they have a problem, do they stay with what they have, switch to a regular smartphone or look around for something else! I suspect that they might be looking around for something different, something like the new Phab 2 Pro from Lenovo, maybe! This is a stunning device with a huge 6.4 inch screen and enough power to satisfy any user, without the need to walk around with a bucket of water to drop to device into should it start to overheat!

Storage is made up by 64 GB of ROM and 4 GB of RAM. All housed in a 8.9 mm aluminum unibody with a fingerprint scanner on the back and 2.5D curved glass, available in Champagne Gold or Gunmetal Grey.

So, there you have it, this is the Lenovo Phab 2 Pro, it is a worthy replacement for other large smartphone devices such as the Samsung Galaxy Note 7. Sure it does not come with the Samsung pedigree but does that really mean anything these days? Lenovo are saying that the Phab 2 Pro will be going on sale later on in the year with a retail price of around $499, that puts it firmly in the ball park for anyone that is looking for a big phone or somebody who has been very disappointed at the outcome of the Note 7 from Samsung and the fact that it could be a long time before its replacement launches, this could be a chance for Lenovo to grab a larger piece of the Phablet action!
