I have been using the new Obi Worldphone MV1 for around a week now and so far this is an interesting device. It has to be said that at first I was thinking that a phone that costs just under a £100 is going to offer little in style and function, how wrong could I have been!
My current phone is a Nexus 6, I have been using this for almost two years and until the Google Pixel launched I have no plans to change it. But after using the Obi Worldphone I am sort of rethinking the way that I use a phone and more to the point that cost does not always relate to the best product.
The Obi Worldphone that I am using is the MV1, it has a five inch display, runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 Cyanogen operating system and is powered by the Qualcomm MSM8909 Snapdragon 212 processor. But more than that this is phone that comes with built in style, you only have to look at it to see that.
So far, I am impressed with this phone, I am liking the design and the feel of it. We change our views of things over time and I think that by using this device it has changed the way that I feel about a mobile phone. The idea of carrying around a large heavy device may be coming to an end, more updates on the Obi Worldphone MV1 to follow.
