What Chromebooks will be using the Google App Store?

You probably already know that we use Chromebooks here, but some people are quick to inform us that they cannot do everything that a Mac or PC does, but while that may be true we have something that is priceless, a highly portable laptop that runs on Chrome and will soon be offering all of the benefits from Google Play. Yes in time we will be able to run apps on the Chromebook just like we are with our smartphones and tablets. Now, not all Chromebooks are getting this feature and some will be getting it before others, so where does your Chromebook stack up on the lost of laptops that will be supporting Android apps, this handy list released by Google will help, fortunately, ours are on the list and soon we will be getting apps for our laptops, that is something that many other laptop users cannot brag about!

The Chromebooks, Chromeboxes, and Chromebases that will be able to install Android apps are listed below. Roll-out of Android Apps is done on a device-per-device basis as it is dependent on a number of factors including the hardware platform that the device is based on and each device must be compatible with Android. While we won’t be able to bring Android apps to every Chromebook ever made, we’re continuing to evaluate more devices and we’ll update this list as new devices are added. Even if your Chromebook isn’t on the list below, it will continue to get other new features and improvements.
