At first sight, it might look like this house is located in the middle of a war zone and has been caught up in the crossfire, or maybe the property owner was fed up because you were late with the rent this month.
Well, it is neither of those, these holes have been made by a woodpecker and stuck inside each hole is an acorn that he is saving for later!

It is a well known thing that paper can be very sharp, if you have ever experienced a paper cut then will already know just how dangerous a simple piece of paper can be. Therefore, if this is taken to the next level then it should stand to reason that a razor made from paper using that oriental paper folding skill origami, should be able to do the job.
Well this is exactly what designer Nadeem Haidary has set out to prove with the Paper Cut Razor! There are some good reasons for thinking that this is a brilliant idea such as; the razor is totally recyclable because it is made from paper, it is cheap to make and light enough to be transported around world.
The only downside to the Paper Cut Razor that we can see is that it is not a real product it is merely an idea. Nevertheless, what an idea it is, how many people would go out and buy the Paper Cut Razor if was real and was going on sale in your local stores? Next time you feel the pain of a paper cut, remember the Paper Cut Razor!

Normally we have just two choices of screw and screw driver to choose from when fixing or building something at home. It also usually works out that you nearly always find that the screw driver and screws that you need never seem to match either. So just to confuse things and at the same time add a little of style with a smile, the Japanese design firm Studio Yumakano have come up with this interesting design where screw heads have a smiley face and the screw driver has the same but in the opposite.
The result is that you end up with screws that are fairly safe because not many people will have a smiley screw driver and they look really cool too no matter where they are used or what they are used to hold up.
