The world of zombie apocalypse games is a crowded one, but every now and then, a title emerges that manages to inject fresh fear and thrilling challenges into the genre. “Quarantine Zone: The Last Check” is one such game, a brutal yet captivating experience that will test your wits, your reflexes, and your will to survive.
From the moment you step into the desolate, overrun city, the atmosphere is palpable. The developers have done an incredible job creating a sense of dread and urgency. The air is thick with the groans of the undead, the distant wail of sirens, and the unsettling silence that falls in between. This isn’t just a game about shooting zombies; it’s a game about constant vigilance and making impossible choices.
A World Engulfed by Chaos
“Quarantine Zone” throws you headfirst into a meticulously crafted open world, where danger lurks around every corner. The urban environments are incredibly detailed, from abandoned storefronts filled with scavengeable supplies to crumbling apartment buildings that serve as both potential safe havens and deadly traps. The level design encourages exploration, but punishes recklessness. You’ll quickly learn that sticking to the shadows and planning your routes are just as important as having a loaded weapon.

Fans of the cooperative zombie-slaying action of World War Z have something truly exciting to sink their teeth into: the new “Aftermath” DLC! This isn’t just a small content drop; it’s a significant expansion that brings new perspectives, new threats, and even more frantic fun to the already intense world of World War Z. So grab your strongest weapon, rally your squad, and let’s dive into what makes Aftermath a must-play for veterans and newcomers alike.
First-Person Ferocity: A Game Changer!
Perhaps the most impactful addition in Aftermath is the First-Person Mode. While the original game’s third-person perspective allowed for a good overview of the chaos, switching to first-person completely redefines the experience. Imagine standing shoulder-to-shoulder with your teammates, the towering waves of zombies now feeling even more immediate and terrifying as they surge towards you. Every close call, every headshot, every swing of a melee weapon feels incredibly visceral and personal.
This new perspective isn’t just a gimmick; it genuinely amplifies the tension and immersion. You’ll find yourself more acutely aware of every rustle and groan, making the already challenging encounters even more heart-pounding. It’s an optional mode, so you can switch between perspectives, but once you go first-person, you might find it hard to go back!
New Locations, New Dangers: Rome and Kamchatka
Aftermath takes us to two brand new, distinct locations, each with its own unique challenges and atmosphere.
First, we head to Rome. The ancient, beautiful streets of the Eternal City are now overrun with the undead. Fighting through iconic landmarks, navigating narrow alleyways, and utilising the urban environment for strategic defence creates a fresh tactical experience. The contrast between the historical grandeur and the apocalyptic horror is striking, making for some truly memorable battlefields.
Then, the journey takes us to the frozen, unforgiving landscape of Kamchatka. This new episode throws players into brutal blizzards and desolate industrial zones, adding a layer of environmental hazard to the constant zombie threat. The harsh weather conditions can obscure vision and slow movement, demanding even greater coordination and resourcefulness from your team.
Both locations bring new narrative elements, expanding the lore of the World War Z universe and giving players more reasons to fight against the relentless tide.
The Swarm Just Got Angrier: New Special Zombies
What’s a zombie game without new special infected to keep you on your toes? Aftermath introduces a terrifying new enemy: the Rats. No, not just a few scurrying rodents, but hordes of them that can quickly overwhelm unsuspecting players. These aren’t your typical slow-moving zombies; the rat swarm is fast, relentless, and demands a different approach to combat. You’ll need to be quick on your feet and communicate effectively to avoid being swarmed and torn apart.
While the exact details of other new special zombies are best experienced firsthand, suffice it to say that the developers have found new ways to challenge players, forcing them to adapt their strategies and master new tactics.
The Vanguard Class and Melee Mayhem
Aftermath also brings a brand new playable class to the roster: the Vanguard. This class is designed for players who love to get up close and personal with the undead. Equipped with a powerful electrified shield, the Vanguard can literally charge through hordes of zombies, knocking them back and creating vital breathing room for their teammates.
This emphasis on melee combat is further enhanced by a new, deeper melee system. Expect more variety in weapons, new perks, and satisfyingly brutal animations that make cleaving through the undead more enjoyable than ever.
Horde Mode XL: The Ultimate Test
If you thought the regular Horde Mode was intense, prepare yourself for Horde Mode XL. This new iteration significantly increases the number of zombies on screen, pushing the game’s Swarm Engine to its absolute limits. We’re talking about truly colossal hordes that will test your team’s coordination, resource management, and sheer grit. It’s the ultimate challenge for those who crave unrelenting action and want to see just how long they can survive against impossible odds.
Final Thoughts: Is Aftermath Worth It?
Absolutely. World War Z: Aftermath is more than just an expansion; it feels like a significant upgrade to the core game. The first-person perspective fundamentally changes the feel of combat, the new locations are beautifully designed and challenging, and the new class and enemies add valuable depth. For fans of the original, it’s a no-brainer. For those who haven’t jumped into World War Z yet, Aftermath offers the most complete and thrilling experience to date.
So, if you’re ready to face an even bigger, badder, and more immersive zombie apocalypse, then gather your squad, load up, and dive into World War Z: Aftermath. The swarm awaits!
For fans of classic ‘boomer shooters’ and Lovecraftian horror, the name Blood conjures images of unholy violence, black humor, and the iconic, vengeance-driven anti-hero, Caleb. Now, developer Nightdive Studios, the masters of the remaster, are back to give us the definitive, blood-soaked experience with Blood: Refreshed Supply.
What is Blood: Refreshed Supply?
Blood (1997) was one of the three kings of the Build Engine era (alongside Duke Nukem 3D and Shadow Warrior), famous for its over-the-top gore, dark carnival atmosphere, and inventive arsenal. Refreshed Supply is more than just a simple patch to the previous 2019 remaster, Fresh Supply; it’s a complete ground-up rebuild.
The most exciting news for purists and enthusiasts is that Nightdive has rebuilt the game from the original source code. This is a critical distinction from the previous release, which was reverse-engineered, and promises a more accurate, faithful recreation of the original game’s physics, enemy behavior, and overall feel.
The Blood-Soaked New Features
This isn’t just about technical accuracy; Refreshed Supply is pumping the game full of new life and content.
Console Debut: For the first time ever, Blood is officially coming to consoles (PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One/Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch), letting a whole new generation experience the carnage.
Modern Performance: Experience the mayhem with high-resolution support up to 4K and unlocked frame rates, aiming for 120 FPS on next-gen consoles.
New Missions & Mods: Get ready to sink your teeth into new content! The game includes all the original episodes plus the Plasma Pak and Cryptic Passage add-ons, and introduces two new mission scenarios:
Marrow: Available at launch.
Death Wish: A fan-favorite community mod now officially integrated as a free post-launch update.
Enhanced Multiplayer: Jump into the action with fully rewritten netcode supporting up to 8 players online. You can also battle it out in local split-screen co-op and PvP modes like “Bloodbath” and “Capture the Flag.”
The Vault: A treasure trove for fans, this new feature includes never-before-seen content like playable cut levels, concept art, behind-the-scenes photos, and remastered cutscenes.
Fun Fact: The protagonist, Caleb, is an undead gunslinger seeking vengeance against his former demonic master, Tchernobog. His arsenal is legendary, blending conventional weapons like the Tommy Gun with occult favorites like the Voodoo Doll and Flare Gun.
Why Another Remaster?
For some long-time PC fans who own Blood: Fresh Supply, the immediate question is: why buy it again? The answer lies in the technical foundation and the future of the game. Refreshed Supply‘s foundation on the original source code ensures unparalleled accuracy and paves the way for better support, modding integration, and bug fixes that were impossible under the licensing constraints of the previous version.
Nightdive Studios is offering a 66.6% loyalty discount for existing Fresh Supply owners on PC storefronts, recognizing the support of their most dedicated fans.
Final Verdict
Blood: Refreshed Supply is poised to be the definitive edition of a horror FPS classic. Whether you’re a purist excited for the source-code fidelity, a console gamer finally getting to experience the Cult of Tchernobog, or a newcomer looking for a genuinely unique and gory throwback shooter, this release is one to watch. Get ready to live, again!
Blood: Refreshed Supply is scheduled for release on December 4, 2025.

The Resident Evil franchise is currently in a renaissance, not just with blockbuster remakes but also by boldly exploring new genres. The latest title to jump out of the shadows and onto your phone is Resident Evil: Survival Unit, a free-to-play mobile game that puts a strategic, real-time spin on the classic survival horror formula.
If you’re a long-time fan or just looking for a new strategy game to sink your teeth into, here is everything you need to know about the upcoming mobile release.
A Parallel Universe of Strategy and Survival
Resident Evil: Survival Unit takes the series’ lore and transports it into a parallel universe, offering an original, new storyline that begins with the protagonist awakening as an Umbrella test subject in a mysterious hospital. The familiar world is now a ruin, and survival depends less on finding a key card and more on strategic leadership.
This is a significant departure from the fixed-camera or over-the-shoulder action the series is known for. Developed by JoyCity and Aniplex in close collaboration with Capcom, Survival Unit is a blend of real-time strategy (RTS) and base management.
Gameplay Breakdown: Build Your Base, Assemble Your Dream Team The core gameplay loop is split between managing your base and engaging in real-time battles.
Base Management at The Mansion Your stronghold is an intricately designed Mansion, a thematic nod to the series’ iconic locations. Between missions, you’ll:
Upgrade Facilities: Restore and enhance your base to lay the groundwork for survival.
Resource Management: Strategically manage resources, defences, and research to build an impregnable stronghold.
The Merchant: Yes, the iconic, enigmatic Weapons Merchant from Resident Evil 4 returns! You can purchase essential items and gear to prepare for your next deployment.
Real-Time Strategy Battles When it’s time to face the horrors, the game shifts into real-time strategy defence battles.
Deploy Your Survivors: You’ll build a squad of iconic heroes and strategically deploy them. Success relies on making split-second decisions and utilising the terrain and environment to your advantage.
Character Skills: Fan-favourite characters like Leon S. Kennedy, Jill Valentine, Claire Redfield, and Ada Wong return, each bringing unique skills and traits to the fight, allowing for diverse tactical combinations.
The Unknown: As you explore the map for resources, you’ll encounter rival survivor groups and creatures, forcing choices between cooperation and conflict.
The Crossover Artistry of Yoshitaka Amano
Adding to the game’s unique appeal is a major artistic collaboration. World-renowned artist Yoshitaka Amano—famous for his work on the Final Fantasy series—joins as a guest designer, contributing an original creature named Mortem. Described as an “eerie presence” designed to create “psychological unease,” this blend of classic Resident Evil horror with Amano’s distinctive, often dreamlike, style is something fans won’t want to miss.
Final Thoughts: A Bold New Venture
Resident Evil: Survival Unit is a bold step for Capcom, moving their celebrated IP into the massive mobile strategy space. While the Resident Evil community has historically favoured a return to traditional co-op survival (like an Outbreak remake), the sheer scale of ambition here is commendable.
If you can set aside the need for pure survival horror and embrace a deep, immersive strategy experience that re-contextualises the world and characters you love, Survival Unit could be a perfect bridge until the next major mainline entry.
The game is scheduled for a global release on November 18th for iOS and Android devices and is free-to-play. If you haven’t yet, be sure to pre-register on your platform of choice to claim exclusive launch rewards!

In the age of hyper-realistic graphics and expansive open worlds, there’s a special kind of dread that only classic survival horror can deliver. Enter Flesh Made Fear, the latest offering from Tainted Pact Games, which proves that vulnerability is still the ultimate weapon in horror. This is more than just a nostalgic trip; it’s a bold and terrifying evolution of the genre that defined a generation.
A Love Letter Written in Blood to the Classics
If your nightmares are filled with the fixed camera angles, tank controls, and intricate puzzles of games like Resident Evil and Silent Hill, then Flesh Made Fear is your next obsession.
The developers have lovingly resurrected the core mechanics of the PSX era, creating an atmosphere of perpetual dread where every single step is a risk. You’ll find:
Classic Camera Angles: A masterful blend of fixed cinematic perspectives and dynamic follow cameras to maximise jump scares and amplify tension.
Tank Controls: Yes, they’re back—forcing you to be slow, deliberate, and painfully vulnerable in every encounter.
Limited Resources: Ammunition is scarce, health items are precious, and your limited inventory slots will make you carefully weigh what to keep and what to leave behind.
Collectable Saves: You’ll need to strategically use collectable items to save your progress, giving those iconic safe rooms a renewed sense of relief.
But this isn’t simply a clone. Flesh Made Fear injects modern cinematic storytelling and refined controls (yes, you have a quick-turn!) to make the experience feel fresh and relentlessly unsettling.
The Nightmare Plot: Hunt the Ripper
The story plunges you into a world warped by occult science and deranged ambition. You take on the role of an elite operative from the Reaper Intervention Platoon (R.I.P.), a covert task force deployed to neutralise a formidable threat:
Victor “The Dripper” Ripper—a brilliant but utterly mad former CIA agent whose twisted experiments have transformed the desolate backwater town of Rotwood into a grotesque slaughterhouse teeming with mind-controlled thralls and malformed monsters.
Your mission is clear: eliminate Ripper, unravel his chilling secrets, and survive his mansion-turned-laboratory of terror.
Choose Your Nightmare
One of the game’s most compelling features is the choice between two playable characters, each offering a unique experience:
Character
Key Trait
Inventory Size
Playstyle Focus
Jack
Greater Health
Smaller Inventory
Brawler, Endurance
Natalie
Less Health
Larger Inventory
Intellect, Resourcefulness
Your choice of character impacts not only your stats but also the story arcs, areas you can explore, and the final confrontations, making multiple playthroughs an essential descent into madness.
A Grotesque Descent Into Body Horror
The monsters in Flesh Made Fear are truly unforgettable. They are not your typical zombies; they are grotesque abominations born from Ripper’s psychoactive experimentation and occult rituals.
From the cursed wilderness of Rotwood Forest to the dark corners of Ripper’s laboratory, the creature design taps deep into psychological and body horror, cementing the game’s place as a tribute to classic dread that stands on its own terrifying merits.
Dare to Survive
Flesh Made Fear is a must-play for veterans of the genre and new players looking for a challenging, atmosphere-first horror experience. It successfully recaptures the slow-burn tension, puzzle-rich exploration, and sheer terror that made the 90s a golden age for survival horror.
If you thought the zombie apocalypse had to be all doom and gloom, think again! The Zombie Slayers, the wild new top-down shooter from solo developer Rashad Ibrahimli, is here to prove that surviving the undead can be a colourful, chaotic, and hilariously absurd affair.
Forget your grim, grey survival games. This title, which just launched on Steam, is packed with more laughs, explosions, and… well, babies… than you ever expected from a zombie game!
The Core Carnage: Co-op Chaos and Non-Stop Action
At its heart, The Zombie Slayers is a fast-paced, 3D top-down shooter designed for maximum, unfiltered fun. You can team up with up to six friends (or go solo with AI companions) to tackle the apocalypse.
Key Features that Make it Absurdly Awesome:
Survival Stories: Jump into mission-based objectives across diverse, wacky locations—from a gas station to a malfunctioning nuclear power plant—all with an overarching goal like finding fuel for the evacuation vehicle.
Brutal Zombie Waves: For a pure adrenaline rush, dive into the endless survival mode. Endure increasingly fast and tough waves of zombies to climb the Steam Leaderboards and prove you’re the ultimate slayer.
An Arsenal of Absurdity: You’ve got your standard guns and explosives, but the fun doesn’t stop there. Deploy turrets, lay down mines, and utilise the game’s most unique feature… baby followers!
Tactical Milk Bottles: Yes, you read that right. These stork-delivered bundles of joy follow you around and gleefully help eliminate the undead. Just remember to keep them reloaded with milk bottles—because nobody likes a cranky, unarmed tot in the middle of a zombie fight!
Look Fabulous While Facing the Hordes
Who says you can’t fight for your life in style? The Zombie Slayers puts a heavy emphasis on customisation. As you earn XP from your kills, you unlock a hilarious wardrobe of costumes. Ever wanted to take down a massive zombie horde dressed as a pirate or a disco dancer? Now’s your chance!
And if you need a moment to celebrate a particularly brutal kill (or perhaps a moment of existential dread), you can even bust out some epic dance moves right on the battlefield. A flossing zombie slayer is a happy zombie slayer!
A Breath of Fresh, Infected Air
Most zombie games lean into horror, darkness, and a serious, sombre atmosphere. Developer Rashad Ibrahimli set out to create something different—a game that is genuinely lighthearted and fun.
The result is a title where the chaos is complemented by a surprising amount of humour. Whether it’s your pet hamster companion, the ridiculous costumes, or the unique baby mechanic, The Zombie Slayers never takes itself too seriously. It’s an invitation to embrace the chaos, laugh at the ludicrousness of the situation, and just have a blast with your friends.
The world is full of the walking dead, and it’s time to show them that you and your squad are ready for a good time. If you’re looking for a top-down shooter with fast-paced action, endless replayability, and a sense of humour that’s completely off the rails, The Zombie Slayers is the new co-op experience you need!

The world has ended, not with a bang, but with a gruesome, shuffling groan. Humanity clings to existence in scattered outposts, constantly battling the ravenous undead that now roam free. In this grim landscape, a new hero emerges, or perhaps, just another survivor trying to make it one more day. Enter “Quarantine Zone: The Last Check,” a thrilling new game that plunges you headfirst into a brutal, unforgiving fight for survival.
From the moment you load up “Quarantine Zone,” you’re immediately struck by its immersive atmosphere. The developers have clearly poured their hearts into crafting a truly unsettling and believable post-apocalyptic world. The decaying urban environments, shrouded in a perpetual twilight, feel genuinely oppressive. Every creak, every distant moan, sends a shiver down your spine. This isn’t just a game; it’s a terrifying experience.
Gameplay that Keeps You on Edge
“Quarantine Zone” doesn’t hold your hand. This is a game where resources are scarce, and every decision could be the difference between life and becoming another meal for the infected. The core gameplay loop revolves around scavenging, crafting, and, of course, combat.
Scavenging feels genuinely tense. You’ll creep through abandoned buildings, desperately searching for ammunition, medical supplies, and components to craft essential tools. The thrill of finding a rare item is palpable, but so is the fear of turning a corner and coming face-to-face with a lurking monstrosity.
Combat is brutal and tactical. You can’t just run in guns blazing. Ammunition is a precious commodity, and every shot needs to count. Melee combat is a viable, albeit risky, option, adding another layer of strategic depth. The variety of infected enemies, each with its own unique behaviours and weaknesses, keeps you on your toes. One minute you’re dispatching a slow-moving “Shambler,” the next you’re dodging the lunging attacks of a “Runner,” or worse, facing down a truly monstrous “Brute.”
A Story of Desperation and Hope
While “Quarantine Zone” excels in its moment-to-moment gameplay, it also weaves a compelling narrative of desperation and the faint glimmer of hope. You play as [Player Character Name – if known, otherwise use “the protagonist”], a survivor driven by [Player Character Motivation – if known, e.g., finding loved ones, reaching a safe zone, uncovering the truth]. The story unfolds through environmental storytelling, found notes, and tense encounters with other survivors – some friendly, some not so much. The choices you make have consequences, adding weight to your actions and making each playthrough feel unique.
Visuals and Sound Design: A Masterclass in Atmosphere
The graphics in “Quarantine Zone” are simply stunning. The detailed environments, realistic character models, and gruesome enemy designs truly bring the post-apocalyptic world to life. But it’s the sound design that truly elevates the experience. The chilling sound effects, from the guttural moans of the infected to the distant sirens echoing through empty streets, create an unparalleled sense of dread and immersion. Playing with headphones is highly recommended for the full, terrifying effect.
The Last Check: A Must-Play for Survival Horror Fans
“Quarantine Zone: The Last Check” is more than just another zombie game. It’s a meticulously crafted survival horror experience that challenges players with its brutal difficulty, engaging gameplay, and immersive atmosphere. If you’re a fan of the genre and crave a game that will keep you on the edge of your seat, your heart pounding, and your nerves frayed, then “Quarantine Zone: The Last Check” is an absolute must-play.

Get ready to swap your standard team fights for a terrifying fight for survival! The world of Marvel Rivals is about to be utterly transformed with the introduction of its very first player-versus-enemy (PvE) mode: Marvel Zombies Mode!
Timed perfectly for the spooky season, this isn’t just a simple event—it’s a massive, co-op, horde-survival experience that’s shaking up the hero shooter’s core formula. Here is everything you need to know about the new nightmare that just arrived in Midtown!
? What is Marvel Zombies Mode?
In a thrilling collaboration with Marvel Animation (which produced the excellent Marvel Zombies Disney+ series), NetEase Games has unleashed a terrifying PVE experience. Up until now, Marvel Rivals has been purely a 6v6 PvP team shooter, but this new mode throws the rulebook out the window.
Marvel Zombies Mode pits a team of four heroes against endless waves of the infected. Your primary objective is survival, completing set objectives, and ultimately going toe-to-toe with terrifying infected bosses.
? Who is Ready to Fight the Undead?
You won’t be able to pick from the full roster in this mode, as only a select few heroes are ready for the apocalyptic challenge. The current roster of zombie-slayers includes:
Thor
Blade
Magik
The Punisher
Jeff the Shark
Crucially, these heroes aren’t just copy-pasted from PvP. They’ve been granted unique, mode-specific abilities to handle the hordes. Imagine charging through a swarm as Jeff the Shark, or using Blade’s bouncing Moon Blades for massive area-of-effect damage. Magik, for instance, can access her unlimited Darkchild form—a genuine powerhouse against the undead!
? Progression and Challenge
This mode isn’t a one-and-done deal. As you survive rounds and complete missions, you’ll earn progression that allows you to unlock powerful buffs called “Khonshu’s Blessings.” This creates a loadout system, letting you customise your hero with unique Traits and ability changes to build the ultimate zombie-killing machine.
And if the base difficulty isn’t enough to make your super-senses tingle, there are up to seven difficulty levels to climb, guaranteeing a brutal challenge for even the most coordinated teams.
? Boss Fights and Rewards
A zombie horde is one thing, but zombified superheroes are a whole other level of terror. Players will face off against devastating bosses, including Zombie Namor and the elusive Queen of the Dead (who appears to be an infected Scarlet Witch). These encounters will demand perfect teamwork and execution of your new abilities.
Beyond the thrill of survival, there are fantastic rewards to chase, including new zombie-themed hero skins for characters like Blade, Spider-Man, and Scarlet Witch.
?? Get Into the Fight!
The Marvel Zombies mode launched on October 23rd, just in time to celebrate Halloween!
If you’ve been looking for a break from the competitive grind or just want to experience a truly unique Marvel Rivals gameplay loop, this is your chance. Grab your squad, choose your champion, and prepare to hold the line against the infected.

The backyard brawl is back! Few games hold the nostalgic grip that the original Plants vs. Zombies does, and now, after years of waiting, PopCap Games and Electronic Arts are bringing the classic tower defence experience roaring back with Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted. This isn’t just a simple port; it’s an HD remaster packed with fresh content that makes a strong case for revisiting the lawn.
If you’ve been missing the sweet, strategic simplicity of managing your Sunflowers while bracing for a horde of bucket-headed zombies, here’s why Replanted should be on your radar.
A Stunning New Coat of Paint
The most immediate and obvious change is the visual upgrade. Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted brings the original’s charming art style into the modern era with upscaled HD graphics. The iconic plants, the wacky zombies, and Crazy Dave’s chaotic backyard have all been remastered, looking crisper, brighter, and ready for high-resolution screens. It’s the game you remember, but looking exactly how you imagined it in your head all those years ago.
Beyond the Garden: New Ways to Play
While the core Adventure mode is preserved and enhanced with bonus levels and new twists, Replanted truly shines by injecting new life into the formula with exciting new modes:
Local Co-op Mode: For the first time on PC (and coming to other platforms), you can team up with a friend to defend the lawn together. Two brains are better than one when facing a zombie tidal wave!
Local PvP Mode: Ready for a betrayal? This mode lets one player command the plants and another control the zombie horde in a head-to-head battle. A great way to settle who’s the real strategic mastermind!
“Cloudy Day Mode”: A brand-new single-player challenge that limits your sunlight production, forcing you to be more tactical and conservative with your sun-gathering plants.
“Rest In Peace” (R.I.P.) Mode: For the true hardcore strategists. This permadeath option for the Adventure mode means that one single mistake sends you right back to the beginning. Good luck, you’ll need it!
Quality of Life Improvements
PopCap hasn’t just focused on new content; they’ve also polished the overall experience:
Updated Minigames: Classic favourites like Wall-Nut Bowling return, now with HD polish and promised extra chaos.
Tree of Wisdom Upgrades: The beloved Tree of Wisdom has been expanded, offering not only lore and secrets but also convenient on/off toggles for various visual options and a way to unlock cosmetic skins.
Art and Concept Library: A deep dive into the franchise’s history, featuring never-before-seen pre-production sketches and game history, offering a lovely nod to the series’ roots.
A New Era for a Classic
Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted is a heartfelt remaster that perfectly balances nostalgia with modern enhancements. It maintains the simple, addictive, and deeply strategic gameplay that made the original a global phenomenon, while adding co-op, PvP, and new challenge modes that significantly boost replayability.
Whether you’re a veteran who can name every plant in the almanack or a newcomer looking to experience the game that started it all, get ready to re-stake your claim on the lawn. The zombies are coming, and thanks to Replanted, the fight has never looked better!
Plants vs. Zombies: Replantedis developed by PopCap Games and published by Electronic Arts. It is scheduled for release on PC and consoles on October 23, 2025.

The spooky season is officially upon us, and in the world of Call of Duty, that can only mean one thing: The Haunting has returned. This year’s Halloween event, arriving with Season 06 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone, is arguably the biggest and most terrifying crossover in the game’s history. Forget jump scares—this is a full-scale horror invasion that permeates every corner of the game.
From iconic movie slashers stalking the multiplayer maps to nightmarish map variants in Warzone, get ready to face your biggest nightmares when the update goes live on October 9th.
The Icons of Horror Take Over
The biggest draw of The Haunting is the mind-blowing roster of horror legends joining the fight. They aren’t just cosmetic skins; they’re central to new, chilling game modes and the entire aesthetic of the season.
? Slasher Deathmatch: Jason vs. Chucky
Black Ops 6 Multiplayer is introducing Slasher Deathmatch, a horrific new hide-and-seek LTM where survivors face off against two of horror’s most relentless killers, with each match lasting four rounds:
Jason Voorhees (Friday the 13th): The embodiment of brute force. As Jason, you wield a lethal Machete, moving with a dread-inducing pace that quickens as you close in.
Chucky (Child’s Play): The tiny terror brings chaotic mayhem and a twisted set of abilities, chasing survivors with a Combat Knife and the ability to get back up for more carnage. Survivors aren’t defenceless, though—they can fight back with their wits, Shock Charges, and Molotovs.
? The Predator Stalks the Battle Pass
Season 06’s Battle Pass is led by none other than The Predator as a new Operator, bringing its “Jungle Hunter” aesthetic back to Call of Duty after a long absence. For those who opt for BlackCell, the “Jungle Hunter BlackCell” skin and the skeletal Dread Operator await.
You can also look forward to unleashing the terror of Jason Voorhees and Chucky & Tiff as Operator Bundles available throughout the event.
Warzone and Zombies: Nightmares in Every Mode
The frights aren’t confined to traditional Multiplayer. Warzone and Zombies are getting a full-blown Halloween makeover that changes the way you play the game.
? Warzone’s Darkest Night
Night Maps Return: Prepare to drop into night variants of Verdansk and Rebirth Island. The familiar landscapes are shrouded in darkness and a sinister atmosphere, perfectly setting the stage for zombified battles.
Zombie Royale is Back: The fan-favourite mode returns! Operators who are eliminated reanimate as the undead, gaining new abilities to hunt down the remaining living squads.
Casual Z: A new LTM on the night maps of Verdansk and Rebirth, this mode pits players against each other, bots, and hordes of regular and armoured zombies roaming the map.
? Zombies: Haunted Havoc
Zombies players are in for a brutal twist with the Haunted Havoc LTM. This relentlessly intense mode throws you into a nightmare where:
The Rampage Inducer is forced on from the start, making the undead faster and more aggressive immediately.
Watch out for lurking Mimics and treat-filled Jack-o’-Lanterns that may or may not be helpful.
A new Jacked Lanterns Whimsical GobbleGum will turn zombie heads into pumpkins, bringing a darkly festive touch to the slaughter.
New Maps, New Weapons, and Tons of Treats
No major Call of Duty update is complete without fresh gear and battlegrounds, and The Haunting delivers on both fronts.
New Multiplayer Maps: Alongside the spooky Bootown (a horrifying night variant of Nuketown), three new maps are dropping: Gravity, Rig, and Mothball.
New Arsenal: Bolster your loadout with four new weapons, including the classicDresden 9mm SMG, the Merrick 556 Assault Rifle, the high-tech X52 Resonator Special Weapon, and, most fittingly, the Chainsaw Melee Weapon.
Events and Rewards: Participate in the Echoes of the Dead event and the Chucky Event Pass to unlock a mountain of cosmetic rewards, weapon blueprints, the new weapons, and the coveted Animated “Toxic Metal” Weapon Camo. Plus, daily login rewards offer Battle Pass Tier Skips and Double XP Tokens.
Don’t Get Caught in the Dark
The Haunting in Call of Duty: Warzone & Black Ops 6 is more than just a seasonal event—it’s a celebration of horror that brings the iconic movie villains we love (and fear) directly into the battlefield.
Whether you’re dodging the Machete in Slasher Deathmatch, fighting for survival under the night sky of Verdansk, or chaining GobbleGums in Haunted Havoc, prepare for a month of blood-curdling action. The event kicks off on October 9th—make sure your squad is ready, because the hunt is definitely on!
