    Attention, Comrades. The long-awaited conclusion to the first chapter of the Atomic Heart saga has officially been unmasked. Mundfish and Focus Entertainment have pulled back the curtain on the fourth and final DLC, titled “Blood on Crystal,” and it looks set to be the most explosive entry yet.

    When is the Release Date?

    Mark your calendars: Blood on Crystal launches on April 16, 2026.

    The DLC will be available on all major platforms: PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. As with previous expansions, it is included in the Atomic Pass. For those who haven’t jumped in yet, a new Ultimate Edition (featuring all four DLCs) will also be available digitally on April 16, with a physical “SteelBook” edition arriving slightly earlier on March 24.

    The Story: A Desperate Final Stand

    Picking up the threads of the mind-bending narrative, Blood on Crystal sees P-3 and the Twin joining forces for a high-stakes mission. Their objective? To stop CHAR-les from executing a plan that threatens to wipe out humanity entirely.

    The journey takes us to two primary new locations:

    The Wave Platform: A massive structure that looks to test your verticality and platforming skills.

    The Crystal Complex: A classified, high-tech facility where the true “unspeakable truths” behind the polymer experiments are hidden.

    New Threats: Enter the Polymorphs

    Mundfish isn’t just giving us more of the same. The DLC introduces a terrifying new class of enemies called Polymorphs. These are not your standard rogue robots; they are mysterious beings born from polymer experiments.

    Pro Tip: Polymorphs can assume elemental forms on the fly. You’ll need to adapt your fighting style mid-combat, cycling through your arsenal and glove abilities to counter their shifting resistances.

    To help you survive, the DLC promises the “mightiest glove abilities” and weapons yet, though the specific details on the new gear are still under wraps. We do know, however, that the bosses in this expansion are being described as the “most insane” the series has ever seen.

    Blood on Crystal serves as the final DLC of the first part of the Atomic Heart story.
