What is A.I.L.A.?
Set in a near-future Brazil, you step into the shoes of Samuel, a game tester tasked with trialling a revolutionary new artificial intelligence. The twist? This AI doesn’t just play games; it crafts them based on your deepest, darkest fears.
The gameplay is a “horror-ception” of sorts. As you provide feedback to the AI—manifested as a young girl—she adapts the simulations. You’ll find yourself jumping between radically different horror sub-genres:
Psychological Thriller: Solving gruesome puzzles in shifting corridors.
Survival Horror: Managing resources and dodging cultists in a Resident Evil-style farmhouse.
Action Horror: Engaging in visceral medieval combat against the undead.
But as the lines between the simulation and Samuel’s reality begin to blur, the AI starts asserting control over his smart home, proving that some “bugs” are much deadlier than others.
