What Is Huntsman?
Huntsman drops you into the shadowed halls of Atherton Labs, a secret research facility overrun by genetically enhanced giant spiders. Originally a pure survival experience where stealth, distractions, and quick feet were your only defences, the game has kept players on edge since launch — and now the experience expands in bold new directions.
Hardcore Mode — Twice the Spiders, Zero Mercy
Arriving completely free to all owners on October 26, Hardcore Mode turns familiar corridors into fresh nightmares:
- Two Huntsman spiders patrol key areas instead of one — doubling the threat and forcing constant vigilance
- Limited saving system — no more quicksaves; you must discover and collect physical Save Discs scattered across the facility to preserve progress

- Randomised door codes — no memorising patterns; every run keeps you guessing

The first paid story DLC transforms how you face the threat — by giving you the means to hit back:
