The wind has vanished from the world — and it’s up to you to bring it back. Indie developer ACGames has announced the first playable demo for STONEFEATHER, their atmospheric physics-driven flying adventure, launching free on Steam October 8, 2026.
Where Did the Wind Go?
STONEFEATHER unfolds in a world where the wind has all but disappeared. You play as a young flyer discovering the ancient art of movement — diving to build speed, catching updrafts, and gliding across vast landscapes. There are no enemies to fight and no weapons to wield: your only tool is flight itself.
What the demo delivers:
- The Plains region — your first open playground to master the skies
- Physics-first flight — dive, pull up, bank, and ride air currents; speed and momentum are everything
- Ancient ruins & hidden paths — explore at your own pace; curiosity is your compass
- Free the trapped spirits — locate and release animal spirits bound in stone, gradually restoring breath to the world
- The story begins — uncover why the wind fell silent and what you can do to reawaken it

The demo lands alongside two Steam events:
