Indie studio Ent-Re Games has officially confirmed that its highly anticipated top-down action roguelite, Bug Alliance, is set to scuttle onto Steam Early Access on May 14th, 2026.
Blending intense wave survival with a deep, experimental buildcraft system, Bug Alliance invites players to step into the exoskeletons of mutated bug warriors fighting for survival in a world where humanity’s ecological meddling has backfired spectacularly.
Every Level-Up is a Mutation
In Bug Alliance, the standard roguelite loop gets a literal evolution. Unlike titles that offer minor stat bumps, here every level-up presents a strategic pivot point. Players navigate 20-wave maps that culminate in punishing boss fights, using a combination of weapons, tactical gear, and Glyphs to survive.

Progress isn’t just about higher numbers; it’s about uncovering a 13-chapter story campaign and a “Lore Book” that reveals the dark history of the human experiments through mastery and exploration.
The Road Ahead
Ent-Re Games, founded by twin brothers Chingiz and Orhan, has expressed a strong commitment to community-driven development. The Early Access launch is just the beginning, with plans to expand the story arc, introduce more playable characters, and add new maps based on player feedback.
“We chose Early Access because we want to grow Bug Alliance together with the community,” the developers shared. “The game has a solid foundation, but there’s still a lot of room to refine balance and progression based on real-world play.”
