    If there is one universal truth, it’s that nobody likes spiders—especially when they have the ability to phase through dimensions. Luckily, tinyBuild and solo developer Casey Donnellan are back to help us deal with our arachnophobia in the most logical way possible: total, explosive destruction.

    Kill It With Fire! 2 has officially arrived, taking the cult-hit spider-hunting formula and throwing it into a literal blender of multiversal madness.

    Strength in Numbers: 4-Player Co-op

    While the original game was a solo journey into madness, the sequel understands that burning down a suburban kitchen is much more fun with friends. You can now team up with up to three other players in full online co-op.

    There is a unique kind of tactical comedy that occurs when four people, armed with everything from weed-whackers to laser swords, try to corner a single jumping spider in a confined space. Expect high-octane chaos, plenty of “accidental” friendly fire, and a very high repair bill for the multiverse.

    A Tour of the Multiverse

    You are no longer confined to the backyard. As an official Exterminator for the multiverse, you’ll travel through seven distinct dimensions, each with its own unique flair:

    • The Wild West: High-noon shootouts with eight-legged outlaws.
    • The Spooky Manor: Classic horror vibes with extra webs.
    • Cyber Core: A neon-soaked digital landscape where the spiders are literally in the code.

    Each level is packed with secrets, objectives, and—most importantly—new ways to turn the environment into a weapon.

    The Arsenal: Tech, Magic, and Absolute Overkill

    What’s an exterminator without their tools? Casey Donnellan has gone all-out with the weaponry this time around. You’ll have access to:

    • The Classics: Hairspray flamethrowers and high-velocity frying pans.
    • The Futuristic: Plasma cannons and shrink rays.
    • The Absurd: We won’t spoil everything, but let’s just say gravity is merely a suggestion when you have the right gadgets.

    Pro Tip: In Kill It With Fire! 2, the environment is just as much a weapon as your shotgun. If you see a chandelier, use it. If you see a gas canister, throw it. If you see a house… well, you know what to do.

    New Mode: Spider Hunt (PvP)

    In a first for the series, you can finally see life from the other side. The new Spider Hunt mode is an asynchronous PvP experience where some players take on the role of the Exterminators while others play as the Spiders.

    As a spider, your goal is to survive by wall-crawling, web-slinging, and hiding in plain sight. As a human, you use your high-tech sensors to track them down before the timer runs out. It’s “Prop Hunt” with a terrifying, skittering twist.

    Whether you’re a veteran spider-squasher or a newcomer ready to face your fears, Kill It With Fire! 2 is available now on Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. It’s also a fantastic addition to the Nintendo Switch library for those who want to hunt spiders on the go (just try not to scream in public).
