• The Merge Mechanic: The most significant difference is the terrifying “Merge” mechanic. Killing a monster isn’t the end. Fallen enemies leave behind a grotesque, tentacled corpse, and if a living Orphan reaches it, they will Merge, evolving into a faster, tougher, and far deadlier abomination. The only way to prevent this worst-case scenario? Burn the bodies immediately.
