Enter the Valley of Mines: Why Gothic Classic Remains an Unforgettable RPG Masterpiece

If you’re a fan of rich, immersive RPGs that refuse to hold your hand, it’s time to gear up and step into the brutal world of Gothic Classic. Taking players back to the dark, unforgiving Valley of Mines, this legendary title proves why classic role-playing games still hold a special place in gaming history.

Whether you’re revisiting the penal colony or stepping through the magical barrier for the very first time, Gothic Classic delivers a dark fantasy experience packed with tension, freedom, and classic early-2000s charm.

Welcome to Khorinis: A Colony Without Law

In Gothic Classic, you step into the boots of the Nameless Hero—a convict thrown into the inescapable prison colony of Khorinis. Surrounded by an impenetrable magical barrier created to keep prisoners in (and force them to mine precious ore for the King), the colony has descended into chaos. The convicts have taken control, forming three distinct factions, each with its own agenda and belief system.

You start as a nobody with no gear, no reputation, and no skills. To survive, you must navigate the colony’s harsh hierarchy, gain the trust of rival camps, and uncover a dark power threatening the entire island.

50+ Hours of Pure RPG Freedom

One of the standout features of Gothic Classic is its impressive scale. Boasting over 50 hours of gameplay, the game offers a sprawling, interconnected world where every choice matters:

    • Dynamic Factions: Will you side with the power-hungry Old Camp, the rogue-filled New Camp, or the mystical Brotherhood of the Sleeper? Your choice changes how NPCs treat you and dictates your path through the story.
    • A Living World: Long before modern open-world games boasted daily NPC routines, Gothic was already doing it. Inhabitants work, eat, sleep, and react dynamically to your actions. Trespass into someone’s hut or pull out a sword in public, and you’ll quickly learn the hard way that actions have real consequences.

    Deep Customisation & Combat Mastery

Unlike modern RPGs that assign you a rigid class right from the start, Gothic Classic uses a uniquely organic character progression system. You learn by finding trainers in the world and spending Learning Points to build your character:

    • Melee Combat: Master various swords, axes, and maces. As your skill increases, your fighting stance physically changes, unlocking new combos and faster attack animations.
    • Ranged Warfare: Attack from a distance using bows and crossbows, mastering aim and timing to take down dangerous beasts before they get close.
    • Powerful Magic: Harness the arcane powers of runes and scrolls to cast fireballs, summon skeletons, or control the minds of your enemies.

    Final Thoughts: A Must-Play Classic

Gothic Classic isn’t just a trip down memory lane—it’s a masterclass in atmospheric world-building and player agency. Its dark fantasy setting, rewarding progression system, and unforgiving world offer a satisfying challenge that modern RPGs rarely replicate.

Are you ready to forge your own destiny in the prison colony?

Tactical RPG fans, grab your swords and prepare your strategies. Indie developer QUICKFIRE GAMES and publisher Firesquid have officially released their highly anticipated dark fantasy title, Prelude Dark Pain, into Steam Early Access!

If you are a fan of punishing grid-based combat, rich lore, and striking art direction, this is one indie drop you do not want to sleep on. To celebrate the launch, players can jump in right now for $19.99 / £16.75 / 19,50€, backed by a temporary 10% launch discount.

Step Into a World Ravaged by the Dark Pain

Set in the decadent and crumbling realm of Statera, Prelude Dark Pain casts you as Soren, a legendary former warrior turned blacksmith. When the tyrannical Order of the Ashen Crusade tears the land apart—opening dimensional rifts and unleashing nightmarish creatures—Soren is violently dragged back into the fray to forge a resistance and save those he loves.

The game blends classic tactical turn-based combat with modern depth, featuring:

    • Strategic Squad Combat: Command a squad of up to five heroes from a massive roster of over 20 recruitably unique characters across 8 distinct classes. Synergise skills, leverage terrain features, and carefully position your squad to survive intelligent enemy AI.
    • Mignola-Inspired Visuals & Epic Audio: Enjoy striking hand-drawn visuals reminiscent of Mike Mignola’s classic comic art, complete with subtle Andalusian influences. The brooding atmosphere is heightened by a soundtrack featuring legendary composer Kumi Tanioka (Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles) and Isaac Montes.

  • Enter the Fog: Dark-Fantasy Extraction ARPG ‘Mistfall Hunter’ Officially Locks in July Launch Date

Enter the Fog: Dark-Fantasy Extraction ARPG ‘Mistfall Hunter’ Officially Locks in July Launch Date

Gaming fans, mark your calendars and ready your gear. Publisher Skystone Games (co-founded by Diablo creator David Brevik) and developer Bellring Games have officially confirmed the launch details for their highly anticipated dark-fantasy extraction ARPG, Mistfall Hunter.

The wait is nearly over: the game will officially release on July 29, 2026, at 6:00 PM PT across Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

A Breakout Hit in the Making

If you feel like you’ve been hearing a lot about Mistfall Hunter lately, you aren’t alone. The announcement follows a massively successful Open Beta during Steam Next Fest, where the game pulled in nearly 430,000 players, instantly landing it on Steam’s “Top Demos” and “Top Trending Upcoming” charts.

    What is Mistfall Hunter?

Set in a bleak, ruins-choked world swallowed by a corrupting fog known as the Gyldenmist, Mistfall Hunter is a third-person PvPvE extraction action-RPG. Players step into the boots of “Gyldhunters”—warriors revived to gather a precious resource called Gyldenblod in order to repair the broken Web of Fate.

The core gameplay loop is all about high stakes, intense combat, and knowing when to fold ’em:

    • High-Stakes Extraction: Whether you venture into the mist solo or squad up in a three-player team, every run is a massive gamble. You must battle terrifying monsters and rival players to collect loot, but if you die before reaching an extraction point, you lose absolutely everything you carried.
    • Six Distinct Classes: Players can choose from six deeply customizable classes (including the Mercenary, Sorcerer, Shadowstrix, and the newly revealed Withered Knight). Each class features distinct talent trees and masters two unique weapon stances that you can switch between on-the-fly mid-battle.
    • Pure Skill, No Pay-to-Win: The developers have explicitly stated there are no purchasable stat boosts or pay-to-win elements. Every victory in the mist is earned purely through skill, strategy, and quick reflexes.
    • Evolving Seasons: Bellring Games plans to support the game heavily post-launch, promising shifting seasonal updates that will introduce fresh classes, uncharted zones, forbidden magic, and new boss encounters.

    Pricing, Editions, and Launch Discounts

When the game goes live on July 29, players will have two versions to choose from:

    • Standard Edition ($24.99): Includes the full base game.
    • Deluxe Edition ($39.99): Includes the base game plus a bounty of exclusive cosmetics, including the Forsaken Skeleton outfit, Shipwreck Coast background, unique emotes, avatars, and 2,500 Fate Coins (the in-game cosmetic currency). (Note: Standard edition players can upgrade to Deluxe at any time).

Deal Alert: If you want to save a little cash, all platforms will feature a 10% launch discount running from July 30 through August 12, 2026.

There will be no pre-downloads for this title, so make sure your internet is ready to go right at 6:00 PM PT on July 29 to dive straight into the Gyldenmist. Will you play it safe, or risk it all for the ultimate haul?

  • Unmasking the Hype: Why Steam is Obsessed with Verho – Curse of Faces

Unmasking the Hype: Why Steam is Obsessed with Verho – Curse of Faces

If you are a fan of old-school dungeon crawlers, unforgiving atmosphere, and punishing combat, you’ve likely noticed a certain dark fantasy title dominating your Steam recommendations lately. Developed by Polish indie studio Kasur Games and brought to life by publisher CobraTekku Games, Verho – Curse of Faces has quietly become one of the most talked-about cult hits in the indie RPG space, earning a stellar “Very Positive” rating from players.

Here is why this atmospheric gem is captivating gamers and why you need to step into the grim world of Yariv.

The Ultimate Tribute to King’s Field and 92-Era Gaming

For years, fans of FromSoftware’s precursor to Dark Souls—the legendary King’s Field series—have been starved for a true spiritual successor. Verho – Curse of Faces steps beautifully into that void.

Rather than chasing modern photorealism, the developers deliberately embraced a low-poly, 32-bit aesthetic. With its raw textures and eerie, claustrophobic level design, the game perfectly captures the nostalgic, oppressive charm of the original PlayStation 1 era. It’s a love letter to the 90s that relies on atmospheric tension rather than cheap jump scares.

A World Where Faces Equal Death

The narrative hook of Verho is as compelling as it is bleak. The world of Yariv has been ravaged by the Curse of Faces, a catastrophic phenomenon where revealing one’s bare face results in instant death. To survive, humanity hides behind unique, crafted masks.

Flex your Playstyle with Dynamic Masks

In a brilliant gameplay twist, your masks aren’t just for survival—they dictate your entire build. Verho completely ditches rigid class restrictions in favour of total freedom:

    • The Melee Juggernaut: Don heavy armour masks to tank hits and deliver brutal, slow-swinging strikes.
    • The Agile Duelist: Swap to lightweight masks built for speed, parrying, and quick counter-attacks.
    • The Mighty Mage: Channel devastating elemental spells to keep the horrors of Yariv at a distance.

Because you can switch up and specialise your character on the fly, the build variety gives the game massive replay value, something Steam reviewers have praised heavily.

From PC Cult Hit to Consoles

Having already taken Steam by storm with regular content expansions—including a massive New Game Plus update—the dark fantasy RPG is about to reach a whole new audience.

Mark your calendars: Verho – Curse of Faces is officially coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch on July 30, 2026.

The console launch will land alongside a brand-new content update, meaning there has never been a better time to discover what lies beneath the mask. If you’ve been looking for a challenging, retro-fueled dark fantasy nightmare to lose yourself in, your quest ends in Yariv.

Verho – Curse of Faces is available now on PC via Steam and GOG, with console versions launching later this month for £20.99 / $24.99.

  • Console-Quality Dark Fantasy in Your Pocket: Azra Games Opens Pre-Orders for “UnGodly”

Console-Quality Dark Fantasy in Your Pocket: Azra Games Opens Pre-Orders for “UnGodly”

Mobile gaming is about to get a massive, uncompromising upgrade. Azra Games, the studio founded by Mark Otero (the mastermind behind the massive hit Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes), has officially announced that its highly anticipated dark fantasy title, UnGodly™, is now open for pre-orders.

Billed as a “4th generation RPG,” UnGodly is being built from the ground up to push the absolute limits of the world’s two largest mobile ecosystems. Mark your calendars: the game is set to launch globally on July 30, 2026.

    No Compromises, No Autoplay

If you’re tired of the typical “idle” mechanics that plague modern mobile RPGs, UnGodly is aiming to be the antidote. The team at Azra Games is promising a visceral, hands-on, console-quality experience that fully respects the player’s time and device.

“Mobile is where the audience is, and we built UnGodly without compromise for the players who live there,” said Mark Otero, Azra Games Founder & CEO. “We’re delivering a PC/console-quality RPG that respects the player’s time, the device in their hands, and the kind of stories this genre was built on.”

    Step Into a Broken World

Set in a gritty, unforgiving universe threatened by an all-consuming entity known as The Devouring, UnGodly leans heavily into a raw, mature fantasy aesthetic reminiscent of a classic Frank Frazetta painting.

You begin your journey as Vander, a battle-hardened mercenary who finds a greater purpose after saving a young messiah named Damea from sacrifice. From there, you’ll recruit and lead the Primals—broken heroes born from divine bloodlines whose trauma serves as the catalyst for their immense power.

    Key Gameplay Features:

    • Aggressive Real-Time Combat: Absolutely no idle autoplay here. Success demands manual precision, dodging, and tactical positioning.
    • Elemental Squad Swapping: Command a squad of four heroes, each tied to ancient elements (fire, ice, earth, and lightning). You can seamlessly swap between them mid-battle to chain massive elemental combos.
    • The Affinity System: Fight together, grow together. Building bonds with your Primals through dialogue and shared battles unlocks hidden storylines, romance paths, and powerful synergy bonuses.
    • Cross-Ecosystem Availability: Built to thrive simultaneously on iOS and Android.

  • Let’s Put the Fun Back in Funeral: GRAVELORD Hits 1.0 This May!

Let’s Put the Fun Back in Funeral: GRAVELORD Hits 1.0 This May!

The “boomer shooter” renaissance is in full swing, and Fatbot Games—the clever minds behind the steampunk dungeon crawler Vaporum—are about to drop their biggest update yet. After a successful stint in Early Access, the studio has officially confirmed that GRAVELORD will launch into its full 1.0 version on May 21, 2026.

If you’ve been looking for a reason to pick up a magic shovel and start cracking skulls, your time has come.

    Who is Queedo?

In GRAVELORD, you step into the muddy boots of Queedo, a sharp-tongued gravedigger with a grudge and a “rotten charisma” reminiscent of classic 90s anti-heroes. Armed with a spectral shovel and an arsenal of heavy-duty firearms, Queedo’s mission is simple: kick the “mortally challenged” back into their graves and avenge his father.

Expect plenty of Duke Nukem-style quips and dark fantasy humour as you tear through hordes of enemies.

What’s New in the 1.0 Release?

Fatbot Games isn’t just slapping a sticker on the box; the 1.0 update is massive. Having spent over a year refining the gameplay based on community feedback, the full launch introduces a wealth of content:

    • Expanded Campaign: Two brand-new episodes featuring 12 new levels.
    • Fresh Meat: 11 new enemy types to test your reflexes.
    • More Firepower: 3 new weapons added to your deadly collection.
    • Tarot Card System: Customise your build by collecting and equipping magical Tarot cards that offer powerful synergies and buffs.
    • Creative Freedom: The update includes the proprietary level editor, allowing the community to build and share their own maps and full episodes.

    Retro Vibes, Modern Polish

Drawing heavy inspiration from icons like Doom and Quake, GRAVELORD prioritises “fun over realism.” You won’t find modern military cover mechanics here. Instead, expect:

    • Fast-paced movement: Dash and jump like a “complete badass.”
    • Abstract level design: Hand-crafted stages filled with deviously hidden secrets.
    • Gun Upgrades: Unlock brutal alternative fire modes to maximise the carnage.

“We’re bringing back the sassy remarks like Duke Nukem mixed with the rotten charisma of Frankenstein’s monster.” — Fatbot Games

    Save the Date

Whether you’re a veteran of the 90s FPS era or a newcomer looking for high-octane action, GRAVELORD is shaping up to be a must-play this spring.

GRAVELORD 1.0 officially launches on Steam on May 21, 2026. If you can’t wait until then, the game is currently available in Early Access, and you can even check out the spin-off, Hordelord, for a quick dose of arena-style survival.

  • The World Needs What It Fears: The Blood of Dawnwalker Story Trailer Analysis

The World Needs What It Fears: The Blood of Dawnwalker Story Trailer Analysis

The wait is finally over. Rebel Wolves, the studio founded by The Witcher 3 director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, has officially pulled back the curtain on its debut title. The new story trailer for The Blood of Dawnwalker just dropped, and it’s every bit the dark, visceral, “Witcher-coded” RPG we were hoping for.

If you haven’t seen it yet, grab your silver—and maybe a vial of blood—and watch the trailer here.

The Story: A Race Against the Black Death

Set in a plague-ridden 14th-century Europe, the trailer introduces us to Coen, our protagonist, who is trapped in a living nightmare. Cursed with vampirism while trying to survive the Black Death, Coen must navigate a fictional region of the Carpathian Mountains known as Vale Sangora.

The stakes aren’t just global; they’re deeply personal. Coen has exactly 30 days and nights to save his family from the clutches of the vampire lords who have imposed a “blood tax” on the living. The trailer highlights a ticking clock mechanic—every quest you undertake moves the world closer to its end, forcing you to make impossible choices about who lives and who dies.

The “Dawnwalker” Mechanic: Human by Day, Vampire by Night

The core hook of the game, and a major focus of the trailer, is the dual-existence gameplay. This isn’t just a cosmetic change; it dictates how you interact with the world:

    • By Day: You use tactical swordplay, directional parrying, and Hex magic. You can talk to NPCs, negotiate, and move through settlements freely.
    • By Night: You become a “Dawnwalker.” You can teleport using Shadowstep, walk vertically up castle walls, and rip through enemies with claws. However, you must also feed to maintain your strength—a choice that carries heavy narrative consequences.

“Is your soul worth the lives of those you love?” — This central question from the trailer sets the tone for a game where morality isn’t black and white, but a very dark shade of red.

    Release Date and Platforms

Alongside the story reveal, Rebel Wolves confirmed that The Blood of Dawnwalker will launch on September 3, 2026.

    FeatureDetails
    DeveloperRebel Wolves
    PublisherBandai Namco
    EngineUnreal Engine 5
    PlatformsPC (Steam/MS Store), PS5, Xbox Series X|S
    GenreOpen-World Action RPG

    Pre-Order Details

Pre-orders are live now, with two main versions available:

    1. Standard Edition ($69.99): Includes the base game and the Sangoran Wayfarer’s Armor Set pre-order bonus.
    2. Eclipse Edition ($79.99): Includes the above plus a Digital World Compendium, Digital Soundtrack, and a digital comic book.

    Our Take

The pedigree here is undeniable. With former CD Projekt Red veterans at the helm, the branching narrative and “narrative sandbox” approach look incredibly polished. The 30-day time limit adds a layer of tension we don’t often see in massive open-world RPGs, and the Unreal Engine 5 visuals of the Carpathians are hauntingly beautiful.

TechMash Verdict: If you’ve been missing the gritty, choice-heavy atmosphere of The Witcher, keep September 3rd circled in blood on your calendar.

  • The Mist is Calling: Bellring Games Debuts Haunting New Trailer for Mistfall Hunter

The Mist is Calling: Bellring Games Debuts Haunting New Trailer for Mistfall Hunter

The extraction genre is getting a serious injection of dark fantasy, and if the latest footage is anything to go by, your nerves are about to be tested. Bellring Games has just dropped a stunning new atmospheric trailer for Mistfall Hunter, their highly anticipated action extraction RPG, giving us our best look yet at the decaying world of the “Gyldenmist.”

Debuted during the ID@Xbox x IGN Preview Event, the trailer showcases more than just moody lighting—it introduces us to Solemn Needles, a sprawling new map that shifts the gameplay toward open, treacherous landscapes filled with towering ruins and even more terrifying mutated monstrosities.

    PvPvE Meets High-Stakes Fantasy

For the uninitiated, Mistfall Hunter isn’t your standard dungeon crawler. It’s a third-person PvPvE extraction looter. You (and up to two companions) step into the shoes of a Gyldhunter, a resurrected hero tasked with venturing into the mist to harvest “Gyldenblod”—the blood of fallen gods.

The loop is simple but stressful:

    1. Enter the Mist: Navigate a world warped by divine blood.
    2. Slay & Loot: Fight off Corroded creatures and rival players.
    3. Extract: Find the “Returner Woodling” to escape with your gear.

The catch? If you die before you extract, you lose everything. It’s a high-stakes gamble that blends the tension of Escape from Tarkov with the aesthetic grit of Elden Ring.

Five Classes, Infinite Ways to Die

The trailer highlighted the fluid, “precision aiming” combat system, which looks a lot snappier than your average clunky RPG. You’ll be able to choose from five distinct classes:

    • Mercenary: For those who like their problems solved with heavy steel.
    • Sorcerer: High-damage magic with a glass-cannon risk.
    • Blackarrow: Long-range precision.
    • Shadowstrix: Stealth and agility for the backstabbers among us.
    • Seer: Providing the vital support and utility your squad will desperately need.

    Release Window & Platforms

The hype train is moving fast, as Mistfall Hunter is scheduled to launch in July 2026.

The game will be available on PC (Steam/Microsoft Store), Xbox Series X|S, and has recently been confirmed for PlayStation 5. Better yet, for those in the Microsoft ecosystem, it will be available at launch via Xbox Game Pass.

Pro-Tip: If you’re itching to get your hands on it early, Bellring Games has hinted at an Open Beta coming in June 2024, so keep your eyes peeled on their official channels.

Mistfall Hunter looks set to be the next big obsession for fans of dark fantasy and high-intensity extraction gameplay. Are you ready to risk your loot in the mist?

  • Something Wicked This Way Comes: Entalto and Forgotten Bastions Reveal ‘Fear Tall Grass’

Something Wicked This Way Comes: Entalto and Forgotten Bastions Reveal ‘Fear Tall Grass’

In the world of indie gaming, “monster catching” usually brings to mind colourful pocket monsters and lighthearted adventures. However, Spanish publisher Entalto Publishing and North American developer Forgotten Bastions are about to turn that trope on its head.

Announced today, Fear Tall Grass is a dark fantasy roguelite monster battler that looks to swap sunny fields for a grim, decaying world where humanity is on the brink of extinction.

    The Story: Humanity’s Final Crusade

In Fear Tall Grass, civilisation hasn’t just fallen—it’s been consumed. The world is overrun by the Vilekin, ancient and terrifying creatures that have reclaimed the earth. Players step into the boots of Gray, the last steward of the Oathguard.

Your mission is simple but daunting: venture into the lethal tall grass, capture the beasts once worshipped as gods, and bend them to your will to protect the last embers of humanity.

Gameplay: Where Strategy Meets the Roll of the Dice

The game promises a unique blend of genres that should pique the interest of strategy fans:

    • The Loop: Movement across the board is determined by a two-dice roll system. Every step forward changes the board, meaning no two runs are ever the same.
    • Tactical Autobattling: While combat is automated, you aren’t just a spectator. You’ll manage Command Points to trigger manual “Backline Abilities,” allowing you to intervene and turn the tide of a losing battle.
    • Reclaim & Build: As you clear lethal tiles, you can construct permanent buildings. These structures provide vital buffs for your current run, turning the hostile board into a fortified path.
    • The Sanctuary of Light: Between runs, you’ll return to your hub to manage your Oathguard rank, craft magical items, and “exalt” your team for permanent progression.

    Meet the Vilekin

At the heart of the game are the creatures themselves. There are over 100 unique Vilekin to collect, categorised across six elemental paths:

    1. Hydro
    2. Pyro
    3. Nature
    4. Physical
    5. Volt
    6. Rock

Mastering type-effectiveness and knowing when to swap your fighters will be the difference between a successful crusade and a swift death in the weeds.

    Release Details

The announcement comes with a haunting teaser trailer that showcases the game’s hand-crafted, dark-yet-whimsical visual identity—a signature style of Forgotten Bastions’ founder, Ziah Miller.

“Fear Tall Grass has evolved from concept to prototype to full production… Beneath the tall grass awaits humanity’s extinction. Can you bring humanity back?”

Fear Tall Grass is currently slated for a Q4 2026 release. It’s coming to almost every platform imaginable, including PC (Steam), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.

For those who want to support the crusade early, the game is now available to wishlist on Steam.

What do you think? Are you ready to brave the Vilekin, or is the tall grass a bit too crowded for your liking? Let us know in the comments!

Hell Byte Studios Unleashes Blood Reaver: A Dark Fantasy Co-Op Shooter Hits Steam Early Access

If you’ve been itching for a new way to slaughter demons with your mates, it’s time to lock and load. Hell Byte Studios has officially unleashed its debut title, Blood Reaver, onto Steam Early Access.

Combining the high-octane tension of classic round-based wave shooters with a grim, gothic atmosphere, Blood Reaver looks to be a love letter to fans of COD Zombies who want a little more “magic” in their mayhem.

Hell is Overrunning—Bring a Friend (or Three)

Blood Reaver drops you and up to three friends into a world where an ancient conflict between Earth and Hell has reignited. You play as a “Blood Reaver”—a cursed warrior tasked with holding back the tide of demonic invaders.

While the gunplay is tight and visceral, it’s the blood-fueled magic that sets this apart from your standard military shooter. You aren’t just scavenging for ammo; you’re harvesting the blood of your enemies to fuel three distinct schools of magic:

    • Blood Magic: For those who like to get up close and personal.
    • Ethereal Arts: Manipulate time and space to control the battlefield.
    • Forbidden Powers: Twist demonic energy back onto the monsters that birthed it.

Survival of the Fittest (and Luckiest)

The game follows a classic round-based structure—each wave gets faster, tougher, and more crowded. To survive, you’ll need more than just a quick trigger finger. Hell Byte Studios has introduced several systems to keep the meta-game deep:

    • The Deck of Fates: Between rounds, players draw upgrade cards to bolster their characters’ stats and abilities.
    • The Blood Infuser: A crafting system that allows you to add special properties to your firearms, creating devastating weapon synergies.
    • Hidden Lore: For the explorers out there, each map is packed with environmental storytelling and secrets that piece together the history of the Blood Reaver order.

“We grew up with round-based survival shooters. Blood Reaver is our love letter to that genre, but with a darker world, smarter systems, and magic that actually feels powerful.” — Jackson Hole, Hell Byte Studios

    The Road Ahead

Launching at a competitive price of £12.74 / $14.99 (with a launch discount available right now), the Early Access version includes the first map, Final Stand, along with 12 guns and 9 unique abilities.

Hell Byte Studios has already shared an ambitious roadmap, promising monthly content drops including new weapons, abilities, and of course, more maps to survive. If you’re a fan of Doom, Bloodborne, or classic wave-based survival, this is one to keep on your radar.

Ready to reave? Head over to the Blood Reaver Steam Page and let us know in the comments if you think you’ve got what it takes to survive the horde.
