Forget everything you know about vampires — this one’s got a green thumb and zero bloodlust. Today marks the official PlayStation 5 arrival of Voltaire: The Vegan Vampire, the delightfully different action-farming roguelite from publisher JanduSoft and developer Digitality Games, and farming fans everywhere can finally get their hands on this wonderfully weird take on the genre.
Voltaire is Dracula’s rebellious youngest son — and he’s had enough of the old ways. Ditching fangs and feasting for fertiliser and foliage, he’s determined to become the world’s first fully-fledged vegan vampire. Naturally, Dad isn’t impressed — and as night falls, Dracula’s ghoulish minions march in to trample your crops and drag you back to the family business.
Farm by Day, Fight by Night
- Grow Your Future — tend magical crops under Transylvanian sunlight, expand your farm, and unlock plant-based powers that make Voltaire stronger with every harvest
- Defend What’s Yours — when darkness falls, pick up your tools and stand your ground against waves of creatures sent to destroy everything you’ve built
- Rise Again — each run brings fresh knowledge, new abilities, and stronger forms as you evolve through plant-fuelled progression
- Sidekick Support — get help from uncles Frank and Stein, who offer bounties, quests, and guidance on your leafy journey
- Cute & Creepy — lose yourself in a beautifully hand-drawn Transylvania that’s equal parts spooky and charming
Full-Featured Farming — With Bite
