Carrot Crisis — Mutants Ate My Carrots Escapes to GOG With 20% Discount

Someone’s pilfered your prize produce — and now you can hunt them down DRM-free.

Publisher Dionous Games and developer Animatic Vision have announced that their charming, chaotic point-and-click adventure Mutants Ate My Carrots is now available on GOG, launching with a 20% discount through November 4, 2026. The game originally hopped onto Steam back in October 2025, and now makes its debut on GOG’s DRM-free storefront.

    A Rabbit With a Grudge

You play as a quick-tempered black rabbit living on the fringes of the Deep Wood forest — a place where fairytale charm masks something distinctly rotten. When your prized special carrot crop vanishes overnight, you set off to track down the thief. Along the way you’ll navigate puzzles, trade quips with weird and wonderful woodland characters, and — thanks to your formidable martial arts skills — kick anyone foolish enough to stand in your way.

It’s a story-rich adventure blending warm hand-drawn visuals with sharp, darkly humorous writing. And this isn’t just any point-and-click — it’s one where observation and deduction share top billing with fists and fury.

    Two Inventories, One Unforgettable Adventure

Mutants Ate My Carrots plays with the genre in clever ways:

    • Dual Inventory System — collect items in one pouch, unlock and equip new combat skills in another, mixing and matching to solve puzzles and win fights
    • Hand-Drawn Beauty — every background, character, and animation crafted frame-by-frame with painterly detail
    • Fairytale Twists — encounter beloved folklore figures reimagined with fresh, funny, sometimes subversive flair
    • Balanced Puzzles — satisfying brain-teasers that respect your intelligence without stalling your progress
    • Original Soundtrack — a score as rich and varied as the forest itself

    Editions & Pricing

GOG buyers get two ways to play:

    EditionPrice (After Discount)Includes
    Standard£12.29 / €12.29Full game + digital poster
Deluxe£13.92 / €13.92Game + poster, art sketchbook, Animalies comic book, and soundtrack in MP3, FLAC & WAV formats

    Why GOG Matters

For Dionous Games, bringing Mutants Ate My Carrots to GOG is about more than expanding reach — it’s about giving players choice. DRM-free means you own your copy, download it once, keep it forever, and play it anywhere, anytime, no internet required. Perfect for a game you’ll want to revisit again and again.

“Mutants Ate My Carrots is a game built to be enjoyed — no strings attached,” the Dionous Games team shared. “GOG shares that philosophy, and we’re thrilled to welcome new players into the forest.”

Meet Blueberry Finn — Your Heroes in Faded Denim

Something has gone deeply, digitally wrong at Cloudydale High. A mysterious cursed cassette has awakened the Evil Pomodore 64 — a sentient, power-hungry AI with a serious grudge — and it’s unleashed an army of 8-bit villains: aliens, mole people, dinosaurs, and zombies. Standing in its way? Blueberry Finn, a scrappy alt-rock trio made up of Hank, Duck, and Alex. Three friends, three wildly different paths, one epic story.

    Three Adventures, One Big Story

Play the three bandmates in any order and switch between them freely as their journeys converge:

    • Hank — uncovers Cloudydale High’s darkest secrets while battling zombies, ghosts, and vampires
    • Duck — blasts into the cosmos to fight the menacing Kelad Empire and stop an interstellar pandemic
    • Alex — digs deep toward the Earth’s core, encountering mutants, Amazons, and the lost city of Atlantis

Rock the System — Music Battle Combat

Puzzles meet performance in the game’s signature Music Battle System, an arcade-style rhythm mechanic that turns every showdown into a concert. And don’t sweat the beat — an easy rhythm mode means everyone can rock out, regardless of reflexes. Your choices also shape the story — alternate paths, different outcomes, and a finale that depends on everything you’ve done.

Launch Deal — 15% Off Through October 13

The full game offers 8–10 hours of retro charm, puzzles, and rock-and-roll heart. Dive in risk-free:

    • Free demo available right now on Steam
    • 15% launch discount live on both Steam and GOG through October 13, 2026
    • Cross-platform support for Windows, macOS, and Linux

The bell has rung — detention is over, and the adventure begins. Will you ace the test, or will the Pomodore 64 rewrite history?

  • Theropods Drops August 20th!

    Theropods Drops August 20th!

Get ready to step into a world of prehistoric chaos and sci-fi mystery—without reading a single word! Developer Lost Token and publisher Dionous Games have officially announced that Theropods, the hand-drawn, wordless point-and-click adventure, is launching on August 20th.

The game will be available across PC via Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store. To celebrate the news, a brand-new release date trailer has just dropped, offering a fresh glimpse at its unique gameplay and stunning pixel-art style.

    What is Theropods?

Theropods isn’t your average point-and-click adventure. Forget heavy dialogue trees, endless subtitles, or walls of text—this game relies entirely on visual logic, body language, and audio cues to tell its story.

You control a young hunter living in a dangerous prehistoric world. When a glowing stone crashes from the sky, a bloodthirsty tribe attacks her village and enslaves her people. Escaping into the wild, she discovers the truth behind the mysterious stone: it belongs to a stranded spaceman whose damaged escape pod needs it to get home.

Forming an unlikely alliance, the hunter and the alien must navigate dense jungles, steep canyons, and dangerous dinosaur territories to free her tribe and help him return to the stars.

    Brains Over Brawn

In Theropods, the world itself is one big puzzle. You won’t be fighting off ferocious predators with brute force; instead, you’ll need to outsmart them. Whether it’s tricking a sleeping T-Rex, sneaking past hostile barbarians, or interacting with curious local wildlife, every scenario requires creative problem-solving and keen observation.

    Ten Years in the Making

Originating from a game jam project back in 2015 and boosted by a successful Kickstarter campaign, Theropods has been a labour of love for Lost Token co-founders Kostas Skiftas and Sarah Duffield-Harding. The ten-year journey has resulted in a meticulously crafted adventure boasting fluid hand-drawn animation translated into vibrant pixel art, paired with an immersive soundtrack blending tribal drums with atmospheric sci-fi synths.

    Mark Your Calendars!

If you’re a fan of retro adventure games, classic animation, or visual storytelling, Theropods is definitely one to watch.
