If you’re new to the Dustwind universe, the main game, Dustwind: Resistance, is an isometric, single-player tactical game inspired by classics like Fallout Tactics.
It features Real-Time Tactics with Pause (RTWP) gameplay. This means combat unfolds in real-time, but you can hit pause at any moment to strategically issue commands to your squad (including your loyal dog, Diesel) before unpausing to watch the chaos unfold.
The game is known for its challenging difficulty and deep character customization, where you can tailor your squad’s build, gear, and skill trees to fit a variety of playstyles—from heavily armored machine gunners to speedy melee fighters.
