    Weapon Meta Shift: DMRs Under the Microscope

    The Mk12 has been dominating the Ranked landscape for far too long. To encourage variety, the devs have implemented some significant tweaks:

    Mk12 Nerf: Increased recoil and adjusted damage to bring it back in line with other DMRs.

    SLR Adjustments: Minor tuning to ensure it remains a viable, high-skill alternative.

    MG3 Tier Rewards: Season 40 brings permanent Ranked weapon skins for the MG3. Time to start the grind.

    Map & World Updates

    Erangel is shedding its winter coat as the Subzero-specific items (like the Thermal Protection Suit) are removed. But don’t get too comfortable:

    The Red Zone & Ferries Return: Whether you love them or hate them, the classic Red Zone is back to ruin your rotations.

    Dynamic Squad Icons: New icons now show exactly what your teammates are doing in real-time—healing, reviving, or carrying.

    Blue Zone Tracking: The Minimap now features enhanced visual cues at the 1-minute, 30-second, and 10-second marks.

    Virtual Cursor (Console): Navigation just got smoother. Console players can now use the L-Stick as a virtual mouse across all menus.

    Workshop: Spring Fest 2026

    Get ready for Special Crafting. The upcoming Spring Fest introduces brand-new Progressive Weapon Skins and Chromas that can only be crafted in the Workshop. Keep an eye out for the M4 and Mk12 skins teased in the latest leaks.
