    If there is one thing we’ve learned from decades of sci-fi cinema, it’s that a “galaxy far, far away” is actually incredibly dusty. From the sands of Tatooine to the grease-stained hangars of the Rebel Alliance, the Star Wars universe is in desperate need of some high-pressure TLC.

    Luckily, FuturLab and Lucasfilm Games have heard our prayers. They have officially announced that the PowerWash Simulator 2 – Star Wars™ Pack is coming this summer.

    Scrubbing the Stars

    Building on the massive success of the original game and the 2025 launch of PowerWash Simulator 2, this new expansion takes the “zen” of cleaning to a whole new level. Players will trade in their lightsabers for power washers and step into the metallic shoes of P0-W2, an Imperial cleaning droid who has joined the Rebel cause.

    The DLC isn’t just a simple reskin; it’s a deep dive into the original trilogy’s most iconic locations. The expansion features six new levels, including:

    • The Lars Homestead: Help Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru get the sand off their Tatooine home.
    • X-wing Starfighters: Prep the fleet for battle by blasting off the carbon scoring.
    • Super Star Destroyer Bridge: Clean the very spot where Vader once stood.

    New Tools for a New Era

    In PowerWash Simulator 2, the mechanics have already been upgraded with better visuals and expanded multiplayer. This pack doubles down on that with an exclusive Star Wars-themed power washer and custom cosmetics that make you feel like part of the Rebellion.

    The best part? You don’t have to do it alone. The campaign supports two-player co-op, while the Free Play mode allows up to four friends to tackle the Empire’s dirt together.

    The world is about to get a whole lot cleaner. Developer FuturLab has officially uncorked the sequel we’ve all been craving, and PowerWash Simulator 2 is set to wash away your worries on October 23, 2025!

    If you’re one of the millions who found zen in the simple, cathartic act of restoring grimy objects to their pristine glory in the first game, you’ll be happy to know the follow-up is bringing “more of what the players love”—but with some fantastic new twists.

    What’s New in Muckingham (and Beyond!)?

    The core appeal of a satisfying, grime-blasting good time remains, but FuturLab has given its signature cleaning sim an evolutionary upgrade. Here’s a look at what you can expect to soak up:

    1. A New Campaign and Broader Horizons

    Say goodbye to being confined to just the town of Muckingham! The new career campaign will take players across the entire Caldera County, introducing them to new characters, quirky customers, and even more bizarre and massive cleaning jobs. Get ready to power-wash your way through locations like:

    • Sponge Valley
    • Power Falls
    • Lubri City

    With a reported 38 jobs to complete, you’ll be busy turning filth into sparkling clean scenes for a long time.

    2. Your Own Home Base to Keep Clean (or Messy!)

    The PowerWash Pro needs a place to hang their hose. This time around, you’ll get your own customizable Central Homebase. This hub is where you can:

    • Track your progress.
    • Meet up with co-op pals.
    • Decorate with furniture and trinkets you collect along the way.
    • Oh, and the home base has its own pet cats, Bubbles and Squeak, a very important detail!

    3. New Tools and Next-Level Grime-Busting

    Cleaning is better with better equipment! The sequel introduces an expanded range of specialised tools and equipment to help you reach new heights and tackle stubborn dirt more efficiently:

    • Abseiling Rig and Cherry Picker: To clean those lofty, hard-to-reach areas.
    • Surface Cleaner: A new tool for tackling large, flat expanses of muck.
    • Soap-erior Washing: An all-new, enhanced soap system that clings to stubborn stains, turning the toughest dirt into a soft mush that’s effortlessly rinsed away.

    4. Shared Co-op & Split-Screen Fun

    One of the most requested features is finally here! PowerWash Simulator 2 introduces two-player split-screen co-op in addition to the four-player online co-op. Even better, you can now share campaign progression when playing online with friends, meaning no one gets left behind in the mud.

    The game is set for launch on October 23, 2025, and will be available on PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. For Xbox fans, the game is also confirmed to be a Day One launch on Xbox Game Pass!
