Darkness is about to get a whole lot more crowded. The developers behind the upcoming co-op survival horror title Fearwoods have officially pulled back the curtain, launching the game’s Steam demo page today.
While the store page is live now for wishlisting, the gates to the cursed forest won’t fully open for the public until February 23, 2026, coinciding with the start of Steam Next Fest.
What is Fearwoods?
Developed by a tight-knit indie team and published by GrabTheGames, Fearwoods is a 3-player cooperative survival horror experience where your only defences are light and silence. Set in a haunting, atmospheric forest, the game pits you and your friends against a relentless demon that hunts by sound and thrives in the shadows.
