Brightstone was never meant to be left.
Dionous Games and X Interactive have officially released the Last Dream Update for Inner Voice — returning players to the shadow-haunted streets of the decaying town, where fresh secrets wait to be unearthed and new horrors stir in the quiet. It’s live right now on Steam — and completely free for all owners.
What Is Inner Voice? — Grief Has a Voice
You are Booker, a man adrift with sorrow. Your wife Diana has vanished, and your search leads you to Brightstone — a half-forgotten, dreamlike place where time bends, memories blur, and nothing is quite what it seems. A mysterious voice both guides you and gnaws at you — is it a comfort, or a trap?
There are no weapons, no combat. Your tools are attention, patience, and courage. Every shadow hides a story — and every truth carries a cost.
What the Last Dream Update Brings — New Fears, New Secrets
The darkness of Brightstone has grown deeper. Here’s what awaits:
- Two brand-new puzzles — woven into the fabric of the town, expanding exploration and digging deeper into Brightstone’s buried past
- 10+ fresh moments of dread — new scares, chilling encounters, and unsettling surprises that strike whether you’re returning or stepping into this nightmare for the very first time
- Polished gameplay flow — quality-of-life refinements across the board, making movement, discovery, and immersion smoother and more absorbing than ever
“The darkness of Brightstone has grown. I’ve been working hard behind the scenes to make Inner Voice an even more immersive and unsettling experience — and this update is the result.”
— Nikos Chronopoulos, solo developer at X Interactive
